JTS Dead Center Precision .22 Caliber Pellets

Shooting JTS 16.08 dead center pellets [domed, .22] in my BSA R-10 at 25 yards about 11:00am on June 28, 2024, sunny with little or no wind but very hot for Northern Nevada, I shot three ¼ inch groups. One sample shown in the attached photo. I was testing several pellets & JTS did the best out of 6 tested. Benjamin One Wire 14.3 were close but the JTS were better by about ⅛ inch. These are excellent pellets. I can highly recommend them.

My umarex notos did not like them. But remember not every Notos will or every gun. Now my cousins gamo pcp and avenger absolutely loved them. Both guns held less than dime size groups at 30 yards. These are very clean pellets and I weighed 5 of them and all 5 were spot on. Never noticed any defects or anything!

So many have bad skirts, and one pellet the shirt looked like a hard taco shell. I will be receiving 'The Shooters Box Pellet Resizer/Checker .22 Cal - Hand Press Die Sizer - Stainless Steel'. I will try to straighten out some of the pellets to see if I can recover some of them. I did find 10 pellets that I was able to use them, the shot pattern was all over the place. I will not be using any more of these.

These pellets are equal to or better than other quality brands for accuracy. Some sizes are made of a harder alloy than most others (especially the 18.1s) and in many airguns are more accurate. Being harder, they are usually a little slower than softer alloyed pellets, but in most of my airguns are more accurate. I have tuned my AVA .22 Avenger for the 16 gr pellets and am happy with the performance. Also they are cheaper than the top name pellets. Many of the cheaper pellets on the market are really junk. These are topnotch. I see that some reviewers complain about damaged pellets, but I have not experienced this lately -- I think that shipping and handling may be the cause and I return any that are damaged. That being said, I highly recommend them and Amazon.

Again, these are well made pellets. I purchased them based on You Tube reviews, which went on about their accuracy.....in PCPs. My pellet rifle is a Gamo springer, which is very accurate, almost hole on hole at 30 yds. with JSB Hades. The JTS pellets consistently punch a 1.5 inch group at the same distance. Out of 5 groups of 5 there were no flyers, just 1.5 groups. I am sure they are fine pellets, just not for my Gamo.

Very well packaged and protected, it arrived in excellent condition. Now do a lot of shooting tests at 30 and 50 meters.

the lead quality is quite good, very consistant. the average head size is a bit smaller compared to RWS for example and are easy to load in the breech. cant go wrong with these

They are cleaner and more uniform in size and weight than JSB's. Haven't found any bent skirts yet, despite Amazon's crappy packaging.
