My son likes to drop the seat after he uses the toilet. When he was a kid he was a late talker and the folks at the school said he had auditory issues. Bah! He just didn't wanna talk. Now he doesn't wanna be quiet. Everything he does, except how he dresses, is loud. Toilet seat banging is now not one of them. All praises due!

This is a very affordable and stylish seat that truly does have a soft close lid… the instructions are very simple, if not even needed at all, because it truly is a “plug-and play“ toilet seat!I’m especially giving them five stars because after owning this for about 11 months, I noticed that the seat would slam shut, and I couldn’t figure out how to fix it… And when I reached out to the manufacturers via Amazon, the Astra, my address and sent one to me for free! It’s very important that a company stands by their products, and it really meant a lot to me that they cared enough to send me a second one as I am within my one year warranty.… The original one I placed in a second bathroom, because even though it doesn’t close softly anymore, it at least looks really nice after 11 months of usage

I love that the seat is soft-close, but it feels flimsy and cheap. The underside is completely hollow and concave, clearly designed to cut down on plastic and production costs. I won’t be returning it, but I also don’t plan on keeping this seat installed for very long.

Toilet seat is not standard size. It doesn’t say in description that the seat itself is extra narrow not standard width the seat you sit on. Horrible seat. Never Sean anything like it before. I was shocked.description does not state it is for children. Seat was for elderly woman who uses high riser and it didn’t even fit the toilet or 3” riser that goes under seat. Been using same riser for years. So ordered new seat when riser needed replaced. It was a horrible headache of a mess as I had ordered several toilet seats and none of them worked. Very frustrated.Then the return leaves state it came to me local it’s been a week and says it still hasn’t been received. It’s been to Vegas and who knows where else. Makes no sense
