We have purchased 3 of these remotes over the last 2 years. They are never the same quality when it comes to the buttons.

Q: Will it work with vizio tv model e420i-a1?

I have a Sanyo Roku TV. I have had for many years. The remote works well with that. Not sure about the Vizio model. I have not heard of that one. I hope this helps?

Q: Will this remote work with any Roku device?

I'm not sure....I have an older Roku TV and the device I misplaced, this is the same one and it worked perfectly with my TV. Not sure about the newer models. The is an easier device to use, not so many buttons - perhaps the original?
