OK set for beginners
I've been using router bits with 1/4" shanks for several years but I recently bought a Dewalt router that supports both 1/4" and 1/2" router bits so I thought I should invest in these for larger projects. The price is reasonable but these are far from professional grade router bits. These bits don't seem very sharp and tend to chop and bite at the wood. For me to use these I have to set the height at 1/16" and slowly increase the height while making several passes. I primarily work with soft wood and MDF and these bits struggle to cut through when I try to router more than 1/16" at a time. These are ok for beginners and I'll keep the set that I have. If you're a seasoned wood worker that is looking at replacing some aging router bits then these are not for you.

router bits
I've ordered / used this brand before; not the best, not the worst. Good quality bit for the price.

These are a good value
These come in a nice wood box. They are a little hard to get out of their holder, but that is a minor issue. They work fine, cut nice and don't leave burn marks.

Yonico 14522 5 Bit Straight/Dado Router Bit... Precision Bits.com
The first time I used the 1/4" router bit, it broke off where it enlarges into the shank. I emailed Precision Bits about what happened and Mr. Zeffren emailed me back, saying, if I would take a picture of the broken router bit and send it to them, they would replace it with no charge to me. I did, and they replaced it like they said they would. I have been using Yonico router bits for 2 to 3 years and have had good service with them. I will continue to buy Yonico router bits for the following 3 reasons; 1. They make good router bits. 2, They are reasonably priced, in fact low priced. 3. Precision Bits stands behind their product.I'm retired and am living on a fixed income, so I look for a good deal. I found it with Precision Bits. Yes I would recommend Yonico bits to someone who likes wood working.

They work
I have only used them once in some Pine and Douglas Fir. They worked great. Box they came in was nice too.

Beware of poor coating quality
Beware of poor coating quality. The coating is just a joke, it took off from the bit when I fist time using the bit to cut a 1/2 inch wide, 3/8" deep dado for 1/2" plywood. In order to avoid harsh using, I did the dado in two steps, each step only cut half of the depth. The size is snug fit. Disappointed by the coating.UPDATE: Jonathan @ PrecisionBits (the manufacturer) contacts me immediately after I file a return request and decided to sent me an replacement bit. I did received it after two or three days, delivered by USPS. I'm very satisfied about their customer service, quick response and willing to solve the problem proactively. Well done! So I decide to change the review from 1 star to 4 stars.

So far so good.
I used the 3/4" bit for the first time yesterday and it worked very well. Nice clean cut and no issues with the paint coating suggested by other reviewers. Case is nice. My only complaint is that the bits are very hard to remove from the plastic collars in the box. They are certainly secure but it shouldn't be so tight. I'm likely to remove the collars if I can get them all out...

Bad packaging makes these dangerous and annoying.
These are installed inside the box as a PRESS FIT, into a plastic sleeve. It makes them VERY difficult to remove. I had to resort to PLIERS to even get them to budge, resulting in a scratched up surface that probably is going to affect how true the tool runs. This is DANGEROUS, as I already cut myself, just removing them from the box. Another reviewer stated the same thing.Guys, these don't have to be PRESS FIT into the carrying box! It's a small box, so its awkward to get them out enough already. The box has a latch, so it's not like they are going to go anywhere! Just lose the sleeve!I would avoid buying these until the manufacturer loses the silly plastic sleeve, or expect an injury getting them out with bare hands.

Cut fine, packaging is difficult, coating is lack luster
I've had these bits for some time and didn't get a chance to use them until recently. The bits cut nicely, all of them so far are nice and sharp. Not having a bearing on them makes them best for use with routers that have collars to use in lieu of. The bits have a yellow coating on the larger ones. The coating doesn't last on the bit. I used it to cut a few channels for bolt channels in a router sled. The cuts were adequate, with minimal burning, but the coating didn't hold up well. The bits are difficult to get out of the box, yes this is true. Simple fix for this - grab some pliers and pull them out carefully. DO NOT TRY TO GET THEM OUT WITH YOUR BARE HANDS. The bits are packed close together, and there isn't enough space to adequately grip and pull simultaneously to release them from their plastic sleeving. I recommend the bits used in tandem with a router bushing as I said, but I was happy with the cut quality. At this price point, it is worth buying the set if you know you will get use from atleast 3 of the different sizes.

nice crisp edges
I just tried out one of my shiny new router bits. I made a 3/4 inch "dado" in a piece of scrap wood, and here's what I got: nice crisp edges, and the dado measured out right on the money at 3/4 inch. Cool! I then tried using the 1/4 bit to make a slot for the sliding section of my router table fence...again, a beautiful, crisp job that made me look like I had some sort of a clue as to what I was doing, rather than the hopeless woodworking naif that I am. That being said, keep in mind that I am not a professional, and will NOT be putting a hundred thousand miles on these guys. So far, however, they look like fantastic weekend-warrior router bits. I still even have all my fingers. How awesome is THAT?

good quality looking bits.
My project is on hold, therefore I did not have a chance to use these router bits yet, but they do look as good quality bits in the very nice protective box. As soon as I do some cutting I'll post my opinion.

Pretty good quality bits for the price
Pretty good quality bits for the price. My only gripe would be the stupid little case they come in. Good luck getting the bits out without blood loss.
