Great gate latch
I went through a couple gate latches before I found this one. This is by far the strongest and easiest latch to use.

I had no problems with this latch. Secures the live stock and helps support the gate.

Quality control is lacking
I purchased five of these latches two-way gate latches. Only one worked without filing. Too wide on one side, where the pen comes up and too narrow on the other side. You have to take a rotary file to it. And one just plain won’t work. I will never purchase this again do not buy.

Solid and a good value
This gate latch is sturdy and adequate for a farm gate. The one I received has one part welded on at the wrong angle and another part with an incomplete bend but I was able to make it work. Well worth the money.
