Not Tight Enough to Give a Steady Grip on Foot!
For the elderlies, they need not only the ease of slipping in and out of their shoes, stability in the walk is also of utmost importance.As this system only has a lock to make sure shoelaces are held in place but does not have an extra mechanism (like some other models offer) to actually tighten shoes enough to wrap around the feet snuggly, I consider these shoelaces a potential hazard to trip elderlies to cause a fall.Not recommended.
