I have dealt with Yankee Pool Pillows before, under my tarp in the photo is one of their pool 8x4 pool pillows. Their quality seemed excellent so I decided to try these water bags to try and hold down my pool cover in the high winds. As expected, the quality of the water bags was just as good as the pillow I bought last year. The water bags seem thick and durable and a few weeks into their use have no concerns over the bags tearing/ripping. All 6 arrived in tact.I immediately filled them up 50% capacity per the instructions, removed excess air, and put them on my pool. Then came the rain, a lot of it. I have a couple inches of water on my pool cover now. In the high winds we just had (gusts of 35-50 MPH) the pillows had a tendency to move on me. I had to reset them 5 times as they moved to the corners of the pool. As you can see in the image above, the bag on the other side of the pool shifted over to the right instead of being directly on the opposite side of the pool pillow. Obviously, the excessive water on my pool (waiting for a bit warmer weather to pump the water off) makes the bags easier to move. I watched in the higher gusts the pool cover just lift up and tumble the bags out of position.I am still giving this review 5 stars because the product seems to be great quality and was easy to use. I am just going to leave a caveat that you might need more if you have higher sustained winds as I do and you might need to stay on top of removing excess water that builds up on the pool. My box came with 4 more water bags and I will be putting them all to use soon to see if that helps.

As described and very durable through the first season used. Got many compliments from the company we use to close up for us.

This is the 2nd time purchasing these. We needed to replace old pool pillows from another company. These look great. They are pretty durable, so far no issues with them. The size is perfect. Just fill with water and place around your pool. According to my husband he says don’t fill all the way leave some room. Very easy to install

I had been very hopeful when I received these corner bags. The material seemed to have a meshed fabic structure which I thought would be very durable. Unfortunately there is either a design or construction defect. The three bags I have used ALL get a leak at the same place at the inside center of the bag.

Brand new, out of the box, and one of the bags had a hole in one of the corners.

Used them all winter and pool pillows have been outstanding!HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, REAPONSE, AND GREAT COMMUNICATION!Will purchase again. Thank you Yankee!!Purchased these last year, live in area where it’s cold, so these were frozen and thawed over the winter. Initially they worked great, began to leak at the seams early on. Out of 8 sets purchased, 4 leaked.It’s difficult to try and patch them at the seems, we have tried. So half of these leaked and are unusable for this years pool closing and covering.

About a month ago I ordered and received a 5 pack of water tubes from Yankee Pool Covers. One of the tubes had a small tear in the corner. I contacted customer service and received a very quick response and they sent me replacement tubes a few days later.All of the tubes have been placed around my pool and functioning very effectively. The material is much stronger than tubes I’ve purchased before from other manufacturers.I’m a very satisfied customer and very appreciative for the prompt and very effective resolution to my issue
