Perfect so farUpdate. Was working good but had to reconnect multiple times. Seems to stop connecting to internet after a few days.

My Wi-Fi wouldn’t work in my room, I got this Wi-Fi extender and finally I can watch movies in my room 😂 great product and great price ! Very easy to install and use.

BOTTOM LINE:1. I do not recommend this Tongyu 2023 WiFi Repeater/Extender Signal Booster.2. The current price of ~$40 is reasonable.LIKES:- It works. There are better options out there.- 4 antennas.DISLIKES:- Very cheaply made.- Blocks a plug on an outlet.

I tried everything to give this extender a fair chance.I followed the direction exactly to long in by phone, and I never could get it to connect to the extender to even put a password in.Then when I followed the back up instructions to activate the extender using my routers WPS button, that did not go good at all. Even though the lights started blinking, all it did was clear my routers password and security options and replace them with blanks. Taking my whole network down.It took a half day and a firmware update to bring it back up and reconnect all devices and computers.I was not happy.

The extender wouldn’t connect for me via WPS, but it was instantly configured using the manual setup. It’s great for extending my network out to the backyard. The connection is fast and supports streaming video and audio.

This extender has been added to my wireless network because another one very similar to it already helped me tremendously. I have a rather large property and require the wifi to reach allt he way across the yard for lighting purposes. I also work from home, so it's critical my internet and wifi work flawlessly. It wasn't until I added this extender that I was able to get full coverage everywhere I needed it.I would advise that to make set up as easy as possible, be sure to plug in the extender as close to the router as you can so you can easily reset it multiple times if needed (especially if you have a weak internet signal). Got this for the other side of our house as our router tends to cut out in the back bed rooms. Although it did fix the connectivity issues it seems to be much super causing the smart tv to buffer every 30 seconds. Works great with the phones but not so much on the tv

This is a super cheap unit. I'll give it credit for being pretty easy to setup, but it weight almost nothing and isn't very fast. I would rather get a name brand unit that will work better.
