Wearing it straight out of the freezer was too cold for me but my 10 yr old grandson loved it after jamming his thumb at football practice. We haven't tried it on the hot way yet. I bought a medium for my skinny but large adult hand and i should have bought a large.

Works exactly as described and fits my hand great. The strap lets me apply pressure to my wrist, which I quite like because work/school makes my wrist really ache. I wear these after long days, and it really helps my hand not hurt all night. The only real problem is that when I freeze it/heat it up, it always feels a little too hot/cold and becomes somewhat painful to have against bare skin, akin to putting a freezer pack against your skin without a towel. I have to let it sit out for a little while until it's comfortable to wear.

Great support while giving relief for pain and still able to work. The velcro strap holds in place well. Great product for the price.

1. The thumb portion and the very bottom edge get extremely cold/hot in comparison to the rest of it.2. It also doesn't stay hot/cold very long, but generally long enough for how long you should have it on anyway (i.e. around 15 minutes).If #1 could be fixed, #2 wouldn't be as much of an issue because when it is at the correct hot/cold level it would last longer, but you need to let the thumb and bottom edge cool/warm enough to put it on, and by then the rest of it isn't as cold/hot as it could be.So if #1 would be fixed, I would give this 5 stars.

They have relieved a lot of the carpal tunnel tingling & numbness I have had.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. My only disappointment was it took 4 days to get to me by my own fault. Package came nicely boxed, when opened I was happily surprised with the quality of the product. I did not heat or cool it because I wanted to try it on. Because I am in a cold climate it was already cold. I felt instant relief. I purchased a medium and it was the perfect size, the wrist band is a little large but was easy to put on although I really didn't need it. I couldn't be more happy with my purchase and plan to buy a few more to put in my 1st aid kit and camper. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ there is my 10 stars
