This looks like a really good brush cleaning basin. It has four compartments for water which when you’re doing watercolor is very important to have clean water. Lately when I’ve been doing watercolor, I haven’t had a brush cleaning basin just water containers, but I decided to try this because it really looks like it will do a good job keeping my brushes cleaner. I love all the compartments and the top has a palette for the paint and area to mix colors! I only just received it today and I can’t wait to use it! It was also very reasonably priced and very well constructed! I think painters are going to really enjoy this!

I like the flexibility of the openings to hold brushes as I sometimes use a wider brush than will fit into round holes. The separate sections are great for use as a palette but I also use the lid. Easy to clean, good depth of wells. Holds brushes without dripping onto table. I like the rounded corners. I like the handle. Great size, roomy & deep, but it fits info my carryall bag. I use it to carry my tubes of paint to & from locations.

I have been using this for about a month now and it really is helping me keep my painting space clean and compact. The bumps on the bottom of the cleaning tub really helps get the paint out of my brushes while I am painting. the only thing is, when I want to dump out the water I also have to take out all my brushes from the storage slot.It would be better if the storage part was detachable or came out so I don't have to hold on to all my brushes while dumping out the water. Another option would be to have a plug or fossette on the side that will let the water out. That way I wouldn't even have to turn the whole thing over.

I am a professional painter who occassionally goes on outdoor adventures to paint. I have taken this to the beach, to parks and even on a nanny job with a fun 3 year old. It survived all of it. On the sand it was a little more tricky to have it be stable, I recommend bringing a book or something solid to set it on first. Love the section to rinse the brushes and how it has the grid on the bottom to really get the paint out of it.
