Bissell MultiClean Allergen Rewind Pet Vacuum with HEPA Filter Sealed System, Automatic Cord Rewind, Tangle-Free Brush Roll, & LED Headlights, 3402

I had a Bissell for about 5 years that stopped working. I guess maybe it was a clogged brush roller or broken belt.I did a ton of research on a new vacuum cleaner. As usual, there are always mixed reviews. I decided on this one because of the pet hair issue. We have 3 cats and the amount of hair that needs to be vacuumed is ridiculous. We recently had the carpet removed from the stairs, which was always difficult to clean.Today was the first use of this vacuum cleaner, and let me tell you, it's a great cleaner! Easy to assemble, much lighter than the previous one, suction is phenomenal, and so easy to use.I forgot it was a swivel type, and although I wasn't looking for that feature, it really is helpful. I like the power switch being close to the top, and the ability to turn off the roller is great for cleaning area rugs that can get sucked up. It even sucked up a cat toy by accident and was very easy to remove.I have a bad back, but this is very easy to use without any pain. The light definitely helps a lot too.I can't believe how much of a difference it made after just one use! The canister was full after just doing 2 rooms!Cleaning the machine is a breeze. Everything swirls around the center of the canister, and just falls out into the trash bag without having to pull it out like my last one.The cord rewinder would have been a nice feature, but that's about the only thing missing on this. Oh and the pet hair attachment is way more powerful than the previous one. Easy to clean that, too. Plus the HEPA filter is a definite necessity.All in all, I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner for everyone!Good job, Bissell!

This is the best vacuum I’ve ever had, especially with two long haired dogs and a cat. It’s got a powerful suction, the whole wand detached, not just the hose, making corners and baseboards easy. The light illuminates fur on hardwood that can’t be easily seen by the naked eye. The attachments work well for pillows and couches. The roller is self cleaning where other vacuums get bogged down by tangled fur. The compartment is easy to empty and the vacuum has good tilting and maneuverability.

Initial impressions after replacing my 15 year old Kenmore clunker. PROS: light in weight, super easy to assemble, seems to have good suction, easy controls, nice handle for carrying, pod removal is a good feature, bagless but seems fairly easy to clean, no hitches so far. CONS: cord is too short, you literally have to switch the plug to different outlets to reach all areas on a floor (that's the main reason I didn't give it 5 stars); swivel steering takes a while to get used to; the detachable brush for cleaning small places is anemic, I'll wear that sucker out in a few months. Let's hope it lasts as long as the Kenmore.

The BEST vacuum ever!!!We have 5 huskies so a good vacuum is a necessity in my home. This thing is amazing. It's design is perfect for getting in the tough spots between my furniture and all the other hard spots the hair likes to get too. It's also very east to break down and make it hand held portable to get the stairs nice and de-fured lol. It's super easy to use and has the perfect amount of power for any job. It was well worth every penny we spent. Easiest vacuum ever. I love it so much I tell everyone about it!!!

It's a nice looking vacuum and it works great. I got it to replace a refurb Dyson ball from 2018 that stopped working. We needed something strong to help clean up after our 2 Corgis. They shed a ton.Comparing to the Dyson the base is a little smaller but the suction is great. I used an older Roomba and did several passes in our house while we were waiting for this and it still sucked up even more pet hair.The thing I didn't know I would like are the lights on the bottom. It really helps light up areas where you might have more dirt or hair, even in regular lighting. I'm a big fan of it now.The wand is super easy to remove and use real quick and put right back. I mostly used it without any attachments just to get into corners or behind things the vacuum couldn't get to. There are only 2 attachments in the box, I used the thinner one with the brushes on the end to clean some parts of the couch and it worked good enough. I didn't get to use the bigger pet based one yet.Without evening doing the base lift off, and just moving the base with the wheels while using the wand, it's still pretty light if you want to hit some corners or above a door real quick and reattach.It's easy to empty, just detach the tank, press the button on the bottom and shake it out over the garbage. I love that it comes with good filters and they seem to be doing the job.All the buttons and parts feels solid. The only thing that makes me nervous about these newer vacuums is that there is no foot lever to move the vacuum into the leaning position and engage the brush at the bottom. You have to press your foot on the base and pull the handle back to get it into position. I hope that this doesn't lose it's sturdiness or fail any faster.It's almost perfect imo, I wish it had a slightly longer cable. I now have to move to the other side of some rooms and reconnect to an outlet to finish. Other that that it could have an auto winder, but at this price and seeing how much it cleaned, it's hard to complain.
