I've bought another brand that caused audio skipping every few minutes, but this one works flawlessly. 4k 120hz, perfect audio, and it even supports G-Sync on my LG C2. Great adapter.

Bought two of these for my setup of two system both with HDMI & DP out. Had no issues for a couple months then the one connected to my laptop would randomly flicker the monitor and or shut off. Windows would not see device. I finally concluded it's the dongle as I swapped the one from desktop to laptop and the issue now occurs on the desktop. Can't find any support method to reach vendor so leaving a review. Purchased 7/2023 so I'm out of return option. Monitors are 32" 4k.Update 12/12/23: After review, vendor reached out and sent a replacement. It's been working well for the last week and hopefully continues. Comm was great and quick. Just only wish there was a more direct method to contact. Seems to be issue in general with a lot of vendors on Amazon.Update 07/03/2024: Dropping back down in rating as device has failed again about 2 weeks ago.

I had a use case where I added a KVM to my setup and my passive DP to HDMI cable no longer worked. It worked once I added this adapter and got a new HDMI cable.

REVIEW UPDATED - READ THE WHOLE THING:A picture is worth 1000 words, so i posted a photo of what my screen looks like when I set the display settings to 4K at 120 Hz. The photo does not do it justice, because you can't see that the dithering on the screen actually flickers constantly. All of this stops when you set the refresh rate at 100Hz or less. The capabilities of this adapter are false, don't bother buying it, and don't connect it up to your computer if you already bought it. I wouldn't even use it at a lower refresh rate because it likely has shoddy materials that will eventually cause your more expensive video card or monitor to fail. This is getting immediately returned. Do not buy it (READ THE UPDATE!!!!)UPDATED 02/07/2024:I changed the 1 Star Review to a 4 star review but there is a SERIOUS caveat. This adapter will meet its specs IF YOUR HDMI IS 6 FEET OR UNDER.In response to my earlier review, the seller contacted me and provided me with this very useful bit of information during troubleshooting. If your HDMI cable is longer than 6 feet (1.8M), then the adapter's signal capacity degrades to produce the 1st image I posted. NOTE: I have now tried the adapter with 3 foot HDMI cable, and it was able to produce a clear image at 2K@144Hz. THERE WAS NO DITHERING OR FLICKERING BECAUSE THE HDMI CABLE WAS LESS THAN 6 FEET (1.8M) - see the 2nd picture.I advised them that I was already returning the item, but the seller proactively refunded me my purchase and advised to keep it (in case I find some use for it).CONCLUSION:It's simple. The MAX CABLE LENGTH has to be 6 feet or less. Otherwise, the adapter will not be able to provide a stable image above 100HZ. The seller stated that they would add this to the description, and I hope they do, because it will eliminate bad reviews from others who experienced the same issue, and create more happy buyers who purchased the right equipment the first time.

I am using this adapter to connect my GeForce 3060 Ti to a 4K 120Hz monitor and I am getting the proper resolution and refresh rate when combined with an 8K (4K at 120Hz) HDMI cable. No issues.

I figured this out from another review, this adapter doesn't like gsync. 4k60 with HDR is no problemo, but if you turn on GSync you'll flicker and lose your picture as soon as you start a game. If you're in this situation, you're probably on a 2xxx series GPU and looking for a way to run 120fps for 40fps, and both of them work great. If you're sitting at 50-60 fps I recommend setting a more aggressive DLSS setting to lock at 60 or dial it down to 40 and maybe improve the visuals.

Does what it states and does it well.

My dad always said "son, you get what you pay for" and this is a prime example. Received this item on Dec. 1 2023. Near the end of April 2024 my TV started having issues stating that it wasn't receiving any input signal. I would have to unplug the HDMI cable and this converter several times until this TV received the signal. On May 5th 2024 it stopped working all together. I replaced the HDMI cable, no effect. I tried connecting the HDMI cable to a different port on TV, no effect. I tried connecting the converter to a different port on my PCs video card, no effect. So I then plugged the HDMI cable directly into the video cards HDMI (unplugging my other monitor) and it immediately worked. After a bit more testing it all led to the conclusion that this converter had just stopped functioning. Buy a different one folks and save yourself the headache.

Le convertisseur fonctionne pour mon utilisation : PC vers moniteur, résolution de 1920x1080.Quand vous cherchez un convertisseur vous devez :- vérifier le sens (de l'ordinateur vers l'écran ?)- vérifier la norme utilisée par l'ordinateur (il existe plusieurs normes : 1.0, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 2.0, 2.1)Ce convertisseur est assez cher mais c'est le seul que j'ai trouvé pour la norme 1.4.

Geht aus technischen Gründen nicht laut verschiedenen Website Inhalten. Ich hab es dennoch versucht. Leider kein Erfolg. Sobald ich G-Sync einschalte wird das Bild schwarz und bleibt es auch. Finger weg von diesem Adapter!
