Much brighter than I thought
After owning this light for a couple of months, it has worked well. The installation was supposed to be easy but I had a bit of a hard time measuring the distance of the screws from the ceiling in order for it to sit flush. Eventually I got it, but a better system may help. This light is bright, a lot brighter than I thought for my 10x3 ft closet, almost too bright actually.I kept it regardless, but something to keep in mind. This wold comfortably light up a 10x10 room. The motion sensor works excellent! Almost too good, even at minimal setting. Here's what I mean, when I walk in front of my closet doors while they are CLOSED, 90% of the time the light will turn on due to detecting motion outside of the closet. The little controller that comes with it does the job, just point at the light and make sure you really press the buttons, the light will have a physical response notifying you that it worked.Installation: 1/5Brightness: 5/5Motion Sensor: 5/5Aesthetics: 5/5Controller: 3/5

The light is very bright and it easily recognizes motion of a person.
The light is very bright and it easily recognizes motion of a person. It has a nice, low profile. The only drawback is that you cannot replace the led. You would need to replace the whole fixture when it ceases to function.

The Installation instructions need a lot of work.
Firstly, I would definitely buy this again now that I have figured out the installation problem. The Brightness is perfect, Installation is easy. I installed the light in a large walk-in closet. The reason for my low score was the poor installation instructions. After installation the light seemed to have a mind of its own, it kept randomly turning on and off. After reviewing the instructions again, I noticed it came with 4 antivibration pads. The installation instructions did not even mention to install them or where to install them. Obviously, vibration is a key factor with this light’s operation. I did not use the provided pads as they were too thin to provide any cushion between the light and my ceiling. I use some sticky backed window insulation foam, about 1/2” height in three places on the light. It was thick enough that when I installed the light it required “a little” pressure to get it to snap into place, but not too much pressure to overcome the snaps and allow it to potentially come loose and fall. The light now works perfectly. Not susceptible to small vibrations at all. If I tap the door quite hard it will come on, but not from normal house activity. Now that I know the vibration situation, I would definitely buy this again. The manufacturer needs to work on the installation instructions.

Great fixture, absolutely love it.
Love this light. We had our electrician install it in our closet. After a few months of loving it we ordered two more, one for another closet and the other for our spare bedroom. Works great and the remote is easy to use. You can even put it on sensor mode. Really love this light.

Bright, Easy to install with motion detection.
This light comes with a remote control that allows you to adjust the time the light stays on and the sensitivity of the motion sensor. You can also adjust the daylight sensor to prevent it from turning on when there is already enough light. It was a set and forget for me as I installed this in a laundry room and only needed it to turn on with motion and turn off after a short period. The motion sensor claims it can see through walls/doors which I did not really believe but turns out to be true. I had to turn down the sensitivity because when I walked through the hallway past the laundry room door (solid wood panel door) the light would turn on. So I had to set it to its lowest setting.Installation was simple. It is very light and there are multiple ways to attach it using the included bracket and predrilled holes for common boxes.Overall very pleased with it although I have not fully benefitted from the auto shutoff as I still reach for the pull string that use to be there when leaving. Old habits are hard to break. Highly recommend.

Very bright, but difficult to install
I wanted to replace my current porch light with one that would activate on motion to allow me to leave it on and not waste energy. I chose this one because it has a remote that lets you adjust settings.First is the install. The design seems smart, but only if your installing it on a smaller, completely flat (not recessed) junction box. problem with that is any stucco covered house will NOT have any flatness. I had to leave the mounting bracket from the old light to help space the new bracket, then i had to start adding in washers to press it further and further from the stucco to make it have enough of a gap for the bracket to actually allow the light to clip on. A 5 minute job ended up taking me 20+ minutes...Once i had the light installed and working, figuring out the remote was.. difficult. it was set to motion with daylight sensing and i wanted to test the light so i pressed the on/off button. Light turned on. Yay! so i pressed the light on/off button again and it turned off. However once it got dark, it didn't turn on again so I had to figure out how to get it back to motion/daylight sensing. after pressing buttons all over the place i needed up just pressing the reset button and then changing the settings and it seemed to work. My main issue with this is it is more difficult than it seems to need to be.Other than that, I so far like the light. While really bright, it doesn't bother me as much when it turns on in the middle of the night (when my roommate comes home) and shines into my room. I really like having it turn off after 30 seconds.I would give it another star if it had a brightness adjustment.Update (no star changes): bought a 2 pack to put in my 2 hall closets. First one wouldn't turn off at all (by motion, remote worked fine), second one turned off fine but kept turning on randomly, as well as everytime anyone passed by the (closed) closet. One of the 2 remotes also didn't function at all, but one remote was able to control each unit seperatly.I did some research in the reviews and noticed one that had similar issues due to these units using microwaves to sense motion. These microwaves can pass through drywall and hollow doors. Since this is an issue, I am returning the 2 pack.Simply put, these lights work GREAT as a porch light, but are horrible indoors.
