Purchased these terminal blocks to re-purpose hard-wired RJ-11 landline wiring. (IDetached the telephone company landline completely from in-house wiring, confirmed any grounds, and attached stereo speakers in another room to an AV receiver - much more stable with zero latency vs. Bluetooth or wireless.) Much neater for this purpose than a wall-plate. Wish I knew about these to solve landline problems years ago.Only issue was small depth of bare wires under the screw terminals - would be fine for normal telephone wire but not a good fit for the higher gauge wire I chose to use for the speakers.

Could not loosen the screws. No indication as to what color went where

It allowed me to connect an old rotary phone to a modern system. Very easy to use. No tools or solderng.

I can reconfigure my com lines with a screw driver on the go. What else can you ask for?

Clearly an 6p4c connector, which does not work for my application.
