Perfect for my young gymnast
Bought these for my 13yo to use on her gymnastics bar. She wanted to practice at home but was getting calluses on her hand. We went with a size large. Definitely go up a size from what you think. Gloves don’t grip the bar but they protect her hands which is exactly what we needed. Great cost to quality.

Does what it’s intended
My daughter is 10 years old. These grips are protecting her hands and offering her the support that she needs while on the bars. We went with a large. She loves them. I highly recommend these grips.

Decent for Beginner aerialist’s in the flying trapeze.
I’ve been going to my local circus center to train in the art of the flying trapeze.I had progressed to a certain trick called “The penny roll.” This trick involved the flyer to grab the steel cables and pull themselves up to sit in the bar. As you can imagine it was very painful to my hands, but after purchasing a pair of these grips they shielded my hands and allowed me to complete the trick. They’re also just great in general for beginner flyers after a lengthy class.

Excellent for gymnastics bar
My daughter used this for her gymnastics bar and she loved the hot pink color and said it did a great job of helping to not slip off the bar. She was using the bar so much before getting these she was developing blisters on her hands. These helped prevent new blisters from forming and allowed her to practice more.I would get wraps to wear underneath as they irritated her wrists a bit without the wraps underneath.

Good palm grips for beginners
These have worked out excellent for my 9-year-old. She's still new in gymnastics and started getting blisters from the bar. These grips have really helped, along with some chalk. Got into a bit of a dispute with another parent about how to properly wear these palm grips. These are NOT dowel grips, so these grips are only intended to cover/protect the palms. If you buy them a little large (like I did, size M for 3" palm length), you can fold the leather at the base of the fingers to act as a false dowel and get some finger protection and extra grip.

Worse than nothing
I was tired of getting bad calluses that snag on everything from doing pull-ups, so was looking for something to protect my palms. I measured my hand as indicated (just under 3.5”) prior to ordering these, and ordered the recommended size (M). When they arrived, the first thing I noticed was how cheap, stiff, and scratchy the wristband felt; I didn’t even want to try them on, but I did. Once on, the wrist band sat along the bottom of my palm—not my wrist; it was significantly too short. Additionally, the leather was quite stiff and the finger holes were both too small and too widely spaced. I tried doing a few pull-ups with them on anyway and it was so painful around the base of my fingers. Granted, if they had fit otherwise and felt like they might have worked, I could have widened the finger holes, but there was no point in trying. I’m returning them.
