No complaints, did exactly as it should, d-bird steel nicely. Double fluted so I wouldn't recommend it on aluminum as it will just clog up and overheat. Can't tell for the longevity as it only was used for a small project, but I don't see it failing anytime soon. Great buy, great price, and a very happy customer!!

Great bit for the price point. Removes material like a dream!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this burr! It's got a very nice weight to it and is super sharp, I have no doubt it will cut steel like butter. Looking forward to using this in my new die grinder.

Needed to use a rasp to enlarge some holes in DOM steel pipe and this did the trick. The carbide scales stool up well to the job we were doing. Light to medium use mostly, so i cant comment on longevity or more demanding use.

We have a set of ramps we use to get heavy things in & out of the shed, but ramps sometimes move. We needed to use pins to anchor the ramps temporarily to the shed floor, so I drilled a hole into each ramp. The holes end up with really rough edges, so that’s where the burr bit comes into play. The bit attaches easily to a hand-held drill and can smooth out or de-burr the rough edges. This allows the pins to be removed and inserted easily, and I’m less likely to tear my skin on rough edges too. The picture shows the drilled hole and you can see no rough edges you usually get with drilling steel. I’m very happy with this handy burr bit.

Cast iron window weights are sand-cast iron weights used to counter balance the weight of the upper and lower sash on old time double hung windows. After removing decades of damaging paint jobs and replacing the sash cord, and restoring the original zinc wx stripping, the windows are weather proof and far superior to new replacement windows. And, i might add, are gorgeous. The cast iron weights, two per sash, has a thru hole, the interior having extremely sharp edges that cuts, over time, the cotton sash cord. Also, iron flashing obstructs and is too narrow to easily run the new sash cord through. This carbine demurring gizmo, does a great job cleaning the sharp flashing from the thru holes. Clamp weigh good and tight, add a squirt of oil, and gently ream/deburr the hole. It is worth the step to deburr the hole when restoring old double hung windows.

A utiliser de préférence avec une meuleuse droite électrique dont la vitesse est variable. Il ne faut en effet ne pas tourner trop vite. Le tableau de vitesse à utiliser est tout en bas de la page d'amazon.Je l'ai utilisé dans l'inox 316 et çà fait du très bon travail sur les cordons de soudure comme dans les découpes.

used for trimming welds cuts like the proverbial hot knife through butter ,shank is a tight fit in 6mm collet though, and only time will tell on its durability ! but so far its impressive !
