Does the job intended!
I wanted a double sided tape that was durable enough to hold cardboard together and this fit the bill perfectly. I used this to hold together cardstock paper that we made in to cones to hold flower petals for a weddding and this tape delivered. It was easy to cut and apply as we needed it and with the right amount of tape these held up well even with rain and humidity. It is not easy to remove but that's what you want right! Something that holds really well! But the backing of the two sided tape was relatively easy to remove. If you took off too much of the backing sometimes it would fold on itself and then be a reject and have to cut another piece.

Good for light use
This tape is great for temporary uses, though I wouldn't consider it a replacement for a strong glue depending on the uses.I ordered the tape to hold things in place while affixing more permanent bonding solutions. It has worked well on paper, plastic, wood, and metal. I like using a small piece to help me make sure it holds firmly when I'm using nails or screws so there isn't any last minute minor sliding of the materials.

Hard For Me To Believe
Every time I see 'Made in China,' I develop a sauer taste in my mouth. It is the result of many losses and even more disappointments. This time, I couldn't see at Amazon the tape that I wanted. So, I ordered this 'Birllaid Double Sided Tape' which I anticipated that it may get me even more sauer taste in my mouth.Well... I was wrong! This 'Birllaid Double Sided Tape' is top-notch quality. It very well serves the intended purpose that I gave it to do, and it does equally well every time I use it.The tape has the correct amount of glue on each side, and that translates in keeping parts together firmly. In a project, I had to remove the tape, but the glue did not damage the surfaces.I do not think that you will regret it.

Doesn't hold in cold weather
Have to apply when it's over 70⁰ or it won't stick. Doesn't last that long once it's applied

Comparable to Scotch 109-3 poster tape at about half the price
I mostly use double stick tape to tape sandpaper to sanding blocks, therefore, I mostly care about how the tape performs when resisting lateral forces. I tested this against Scotch 109-3 poster tape (https://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Removable-Poster-Tape-Inches/dp/B007Z92RZ0/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2F0F05NBOCDBJ&keywords=scotch+poster+tape+double+sided&qid=1692354127&sprefix=scotch+poster+tape%2Caps%2C265&sr=8-5) by taping thin aluminum strips to a board, then hanging a bunch of washers off of those strips with paper clips. A square inch of both the Birllaid and Scotch tapes held half a pound of washers overnight. In the vertical direction, both tapes easily release with a lot less force than that when I pulled the aluminum strips off of the board. I don't have a calibrated way to measure that force, but they felt about the same with the Scotch tape perhaps being slightly stronger. The dimensions of the two products differ, so let's compare price on a per-square-inch basis: Birllaid $11.99/600=2 cents per sq-in vs Scotch $5.50/(150x.75)=4.9 cents per sq-in. Birllaid seems to perform the same as Scotch at about half the price.
