Works as expected, be very careful during the install.
These antennas improved the range as I expected but be very careful during the install. The installation video on YouTube is excellent, but if you don't have any experience working on electronic equipment this small, be very cautious during the install and go very slowly. I've worked on radios before and still found it a little challenging in not causing any damage, particularly the fragile ribbon cables. Good product and it's nice having a controller with these fittings as it can accept a variety of other brand antennas now as well.

Easy Mod with Excelent results.
Easy install. I’ve fixed a phone screen before so I have some experience in opening devices but honestly I think even a monkey could do this mod. I added some super glue to the connector to make sure it don’t fall out. Took about 45 minutes to do the mod while watching a YouTube video. Could have done it in less time but was distracted trying to keep my cat away from the few screws that you need to remove. As for flight range; it is immensely improved and video quality stays sharp and higher resolution further than before. Before I would fly out in a woody area and only go about 3500 feet before image loss. Now I can go double that! I added a photo of the final product and you can see how much smaller the original antenna were. One thing to note, Everything still fits in the original carrying case that DJI ships with the drone. So that’s awesome! I didn’t want to buy one of the kits that was too bulky. This one is just right. If you’re debating if you should get a mod kit... this is the one I would recommend!Edit:I would recommend buying:5.8G 7dBi FPV Drone Antenna Mushroom Antenna and 14dBi Panel Antenna High Gain FPV AntennaThese antennas will increase the range even further with this kit.

Nice
Fit and worked perfectly and did gain some extra range but near good as it could be

Very easy install and range is excellent
I was skeptical at first...The kit arrived very fast and the install is a breeze as long as you have a little understanding of how to take things apart. Install took maybe 20 minutes total and the range Is unbelievable now if they only made batteries that last longer..lol

DO NOT BUY THESE THEY DO NOT WORK READ BELOW!!
DO NOT BUY THESE ANTENNAS!! NOT AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL!! READ THE TRUTH BELOW FROM THE EXPERIENCE PERSON!!!MY DRONE IS THE ORIGINAL MAVIC PRO!!!first off let me give you my background I'm a certified computer network engineer, I regularly fix phones, computers, guitars, amplifiers etc.. I'm also a musical engineer, musician etc .... I have 30 years electronic experience...The reason for these antennas was because I live in a congested area trees, houses.. I can regularly get about 7000 to 8000 ft before I lose signal.. if I go a different direction maybe 4,000 ft.. the controller in the Drone are always facing each other..AS FOR HOW HARD THE MODIFICATION WAS.. I didn't think it was that hard.. The only two parts that were difficult was taking off the bottom panel, and pulling the antennas out.. other than that pretty simple... I ALSO DID IT 3 TIMES TO COMPARE THE DIFFERENCE GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THE ORIGINAL ANTENNAS..I CONTINUOUSLY GOT 1000 TO 2,000 FT BETTER WITH THE ORIGINAL ANTENNAS NO MATTER WHICH ANTENNAS FROM ARG I PUT ON!!!At a minimum the omnidirectional antennas should have worked better than the omnidirectional original antennas because they're much bigger with a higher DBI!!! BUT NOPE IT'S JUST A SCAM..if you're in a congested area omnidirectional is are going to be better not the panels anyways.. the directional panels are best in an open area in which the original antennas give you 4.3 mi in that situation more than the battery can handle.. so if none of these antennas work good in a congested area THEN THEY'RE COMPLETELY USELESS!!!About the 5D button.. people were wondering if that just comes off.. the answer is yes it does and that's what it was intended to do but once you take it off it'll be hard to keep it on again.. there's like silicone inside the button that pushes it back out. Just a factory defect in my opinion.. the USB mini port and the 5D button mechanical connection are the only two poorly made things on the controller..HERE IS ANOTHER INTERESTING THING PEOPLE WERE ASKING ABOUT!! HOW COME ONLY THE LEFT ANTENNA SEEMS TO BE WORKING WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF AND THE RIGHT ANTENNA DOES NOTHING WHEN YOU TAKE THAT ONE OFF?HERE IS YOUR ANSWER FROM A TECHNICIAN!!" No there are two patch antennas in the directional panels. So they are each the same gain.On the Mavic Pro the left antenna is the only one that transmits and receives. The right antenna receives only. This is basically redundancy to improve the video feed"FYI ( I've watched plenty of videos on all of these antennas.. NONE OF THEM ARE GOING TO MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE UNLESS YOU GET THE POWER BOOSTED ONES.. THAT WAS RIGHT FROM THE TECHNICIANS MOUTH.. HE ALSO SAID OMNIDIRECTIONAL IS A MUCH BETTER CHOICE..So I hope I helped people to see the truth!!! I'M RETURNING THESE PIECES OF GARBAGE!!!WHAT ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! NEVER RESPONDED TO ANYTHING ON FACEBOOK OR IF YOU EMAIL THEM!!I SPOKEN WITH OTHER ANTENNA MANUFACTURERS ( ARGTEK ) IS KNOWN AS A GIMMICK COMPANY!!!!

Doesn't Drop out anymore
Worked much better than standard antenna. Much further distance as well. Doesn't drop out any more.

Not even one star...bad product and even worse customer service!
I don’t like to do this, but I gave ARGtek enough time and opportunities to help me out, but they were of no help and in the end they have even stopped replying to my emails. I definitely had ny doubts about a $60 range extender for my Mavic Pro which also came with three switchable antennas, but the risk/reward was worth it for me. It was my first time doing any sort of this type of modification work, but it was pretty easy watching YouTube videos. Unfortunately when I tried all three antennas, my Mavic got less range than with the stock antennas. For a couple of weeks, I went to various know places where I have flown before with the stock antennas and tried all three antennas. Too bad that not once were the stock antennas surpassed by any of the three ARGtek antennas. The ARGtek antennas even started to give video lags which has never happened with the stock antennas ever since I have been using the latest iPad. So, I contacted ARGtek hoping that they might have some troubleshooting tips. Their first response was to join them on Facebook in which I don't do FB and their second response was to buy another one of their antennas. I'm a full-time elementary school teacher on summer break and on a tight summertime budget, so I wasn't gonna be fooled twice. This experience was a good lesson for me that if it's too good to be true then it's most likely not.
