This product was used by me a few weeks ago when I made the decision that it was finally time to replace the floor layout in my kitchen. The fact that I spend a significant amount of time standing at the countertops, either preparing food or going through supermarket bags, was the key factor that inspired me to do this. I believe that it was long overdue for me to have a cushioned mat to decrease the strain that was being placed on my feet; nevertheless, I was not quite prepared for how much of a difference it would make in the activities that I do on a daily basis. My rhythm of cooking was thrown off since I noticed myself taking more stops and resting my feet on a stool that was close before these mats came. This caused my rhythm to be broken. Now, I am much more comfortable standing for long periods of time, which enables me to maintain my concentration on tasks such as cleaning or preparing meals without experiencing the nagging weariness that I used to experience. My first order of business was to position one mat in front of the sink, and the second mat was placed next to the main countertop, which is where I conduct most of my chopping and mixing. At first appearance, the mats did not seem to be very thick; nevertheless, as soon as I actually walked across them, I immediately felt the difference in cushioning that exists between them. I believe that the shock absorption is one of the most important advantages; it helps to alleviate the pain that I get in my lower back and heels. In the event that I need to shift from one section of the counter to another, I also love the fact that I can use them to reposition myself by sliding them slightly. Nevertheless, I did not have a positive experience during my very first attempt: I came dangerously close to falling since I anticipated that the mat would have a different hold on the floor. Thankfully, after I understood how it functioned most effectively, I was able to arrange it in a steady position, and I never had another problem after that.

Perfect for my Pergo floor. Rug is well made and a good thickness. Also easy to clean up and holds up to cats nails! They actually gave it a scratch and decided against it :-) And I have 5 cats who love scratching! I do have cat trees and other cat scratchers they do like. But I was concerned they might rip it up. But they dont. I put a yoga mat under the runner to give it some cushion. I have an older cat with arthritis and it aids in giving him a soft landing when he climbs down from his favorite spot. Ive had to make several adjustments with graduated levels he can gently climb down instead of jumping straight down onto the floor which over time does damage to their joints. The rugs look great, are very useful and a nice neutral look.

The kitchen mats fit perfectly in my kitchen. I purchased four of them. However, I washed them according to the directions, and on two of them the binding came loose on a significant portion of one side. One of them is not as slip resistant as I would have liked. I'm sure I can repair the loose binding, but I am disappointed.

these are comfortable to walk on. doesn't lif so no one will trip (reason i had to replace old mats and buy these) , water resistance. Made the kitchen work area look brighter and clean.These are washable - haven't tried that yet. But great price!

I love these floor mats. They coordinate very well with my kitchen tile floor, and best of all they don't slip on the smooth floor. Very good purchase.

Carpet isn't too bad. They fit exactly how they should. They are comfortable to stand on. They are easy to move around, but do not move easily on their own. The color looked exactly as pictured. My only gripe is that they are not very thick and seem as though they may not last. I will change my review down the road if that is the case. Otherwise, they are holding up great!
