I’m using these to allow heavy duty cords behind my furniture along a wall. Previously, the stiff heavy printer and UPS cords meant my bookcase was several inches away from the wall, with a big gap that stuff was always falling into. Now my bookshelf is flush against the wall again (the top sticks out about an inch all around, so flush on top allows about an inch directly behind. I’m using one with a UPS (technically, probably shouldn't use an extension cord, but the short length seems not to compromise its functionality), and another with a printer, both with stiff cords that previously stuck out an extra 2-3” beyond the 1-1.5” of their hefty plugs (3-4” total). Now they’re both well under an inch, and I’m happy.

We have an oven/microwave that covers an power socket in the wall. I wanted to put in a short cord to plug in an electric griddle (so it is on top of the stove and underneath the exhaust fans). Our other outlets were a few feet away. This cord allows me to bring out the plug so I can connect the griddle without a long cord. Because it is low profile, it fits in the small space between the oven and the wall. But the cord isn't long enough that it would get in the way.

One of the two that I ordered has a Nick in the cord where they’ve used a plastic wire tie to attach product information. The closest UPS store to return this is 35 miles away approximately a 45–50 minute drive as I live in the country so not worth returning will take a chance that it did not go through to the inner wire.

Just the right length for getting the coffeemaker cord to reach the outlet, without overstretching or tying up extra cord on a longer extension cord.Perfect for me and I bet you'll like it too.

Instructions with it distinctly say that it is for inside use only. Could not use it for my project. I gave it to an electrician, in case he could use it.

I wish all cables were angled. I assume it has something to do with quality of protection, but as long as you aren't plugging in any high power or expensive devices there should be little issue. My real dissapointment is the size of the female end is extremely large which negates the slim appearance of the male end. When hiding behind a couch or other objects, it's less of a concern. Lastly, it's a little expensive considering what it provides with comparable non-rotating plugs.

Exactly what I needed. I'm a little concerned it says not to plug this into a surge protector though - or a small cable enclosure which is what I need this for (a large router brick won't fit in the enclosure). It appears to be heavy duty.
