(Double Pack) Plug in Emergency Power Failure LED Light - Rechargeable Flashlight - Night Light

Even though the instructions appear to have been written by my 3 year old grandson, this product proved to be a good investment for my goal. I installed 4 units at my elderly mom's residence as a result of a recent 4 hour power outage. I tested every function and they all performed well. I will test the proclaimed "90 minute" battery life in the event of a power failure. The only shortcoming in my opinion was that I expected a brighter display from the LED's. I am going to purchase 4 more units for my residence.

I've had several of these for years and they still work great. Recently bought 2 more. Very solid build quality. Only complaint is that the night light can be a little TOO bright if you need absolute darkness to sleep, but great for small kid's bedrooms. We had an ice storm a couple of years ago that took out the power in the middle of the night. These came on, then shut off when the sun came out, saving the battery for later that night when we needed them again.

These lights have a serious design flaw: they only stay on in COMPLETE darkness. Even the faint amount of ambient lighting makes they flickers rapidly -- almost gave me seizures! They even flicker when its own light reflected from nearby walls. I had to tape off the light sensor to override this problem, then they can stay on without flicker, but have essentially lost the auto-dimming function.

These are great! I live in a senior citizen community in New Jersey and recommend them to all my friends.They came in very handy during Hurricane Sandy a couple of years ago. I now have one in every room and take them with me when I stay overnight anywhere. If I wake up during the night, I can easily find my way from room to room. They serve as night lights and come on strong if the power goes out. Much safer than candles during a power failure.Wouldn't want to be without them now.

I ordered a two pack which quickly became a one-pack because one of the two unitswould not hold a charge. I contacted the vendor and arranged a return. The replacementunit worked as advertised. However, the second original unit nightlight feature has failed.As we purchased these for both emergency and non-emergency (nightlight) applicationthis renders the product unusable for its original day-to-day purpose.

Good emergency light. Purchase a 2-pack. One was faulty, but the company replaced it immediately. The instructions are a bit confusing, and didn't seem to quite match the unit.

these are a great emergency light and also a night light to boot. other emergency lights we have had just turn on when the power goes out, even in the middle of the day when you don't need it or you're at work. these emergency lights depend on the photocell and a loss of power before the automatically activate so you don't waste battery during daylight hours.

Haven't used it yet--that's fine, electricity has gone out so have only used it as s flashlight and hallway night light. Seems like a worthwhile product.
