PICC Line Cover - Fuchsia - S

Do not buy this product. I have washed several times. The DYE this product contains is cheap and runs. As you can see by Picture Of This PICC Line & PICC Line dressing that the PICC Line Sleeve (below PICC Line) is staining the PICC LINE & DRESSING. NOT AT ALL SANITARY for such an AREA that is to be kept clean. Nurses are complaining about it. Also, Sleeve does not stay as in picture. Sleeve rolls up into about a 1” band around arm barely covering PICC Line. I would have written Review much sooner, but I have been very sick. 2 types of Cancer & Pneumonia. Doesn’t even really deserve 1 STAR.

It's a tube made of slinky material that helps keep my PICC line contained--so I balked at the cost initially, but considering that I'm not up for a sewing project at the moment, it's a nice item to have.When I felt well enough to go out, it let me wear a dress and tank tops through the summer, without worrying about always keeping a cardigan or something over my bandage. It keeps my extension tubing more secure than if I just loosely knot around my arm--which is nice when doing light chores.PROS: more comfortable than tube sock on arm, or other bandage material; cute; keeps extension tubing contained when moving around, changing clothes, sleeping, etc.CONS: more expensive than I think a tiny slinky tube of material should beEven though I carefully measured my arm to select a size, the XS was a TINY bit tight when it arrived, but I think it has stretched out a little over the last few weeks and is now perfect.

I purchases several of these arm band covers from this seller. All were as expected and cover my PICC line beautifully. With the Astral design, I experienced that it felt tighter than the others even though they were the same size. I contacted the seller saying I didn't want to return it but exchange it for another one that was true to size. I received a response right away saying how sort the were about this inconvenience and that if it was OK to send a new one along with a prepaid postage envelope to return the one I had at home. I said perfect! Within a couple of days I received the new one plus the prepaid postage as promised and now this band fits just fine. I highly recommend this seller to anyone.

This was delivered much faster than I had anticipated, which was a huge relief! Very soft, light and stretchy material. The "arm band" the hospital supplied me with was always too tight, and this PICC line cover feels way more comfortable. My only qualm is it just a LITTLE bit too big. It's not falling down, but I have been adjusting it a lot to keep it up. I ordered a medium, because my arm measured 12.5, but I figured the large would be too much. I'm glad I ordered the medium, but I do wonder if the small would fit better? However, I do want something that fits comfortably, so I think I can make due with this for the 6 weeks that I will need it for.

When u order keep in mind they stretch. I am ordering for the third time because of size. If usingOn the arm and your an XL a medium size would secure and cover a blood sugar monitor. Washing and drying did not shrink!!! Overall I would recommend this cover.The company was very accommodating in helping me get the correct fit and it’s a perfect cover toprotect diabetic monitors.

This is my second review,I was contacted by the company and they offered me a new prototype Longer sleek sleeve,of course I wanted my husband to try it,he has to wear an extension on his pic line and needed the length.The new longer sleek sleeve covers his arm well,he loves it!

Gals with cancer and a PICC like will appreciate anything making life better....this will do that. I'm sure its being made for less than a dollar...I consider it way over priced but my wife doesn't care- she loves it.

Company was easy to work with even when I ordered wrong size. Awesome company. I have now donated my sleeves to the infusion center. They were easy to wash and sanitize :) The sleeves I ordered made me think I wasn't as sick as I was. Pretty to look at. Make sure you order for enough room for the bandage. I even wore mine after Pic line was taken out as the sensitivity was unbearable. They worked great!
