It flips butter smooth and sounds amazing. After hours of flipping there is still little to no play on the balisong. To be honest I can’t find anything wrong with it. Other review note the spike on the safe side and say you can be stabbed by it. I assure you this is very unlikely and cannot happen unless you intentionally try to. Stop looking at the reviews and buy this $30 dollar butterfly knife you won’t regret it.

This Balisong is cheap but not cheaply built. Great for a trainer, just know the tip is NOT a bottle opener. Overall the weight is fantastic well balanced and fun to use. The grip is not to bad.When you get your Bali put a drop of oil on each other the pivots before using it. Thank me later. The action is buttery smooth.

Feels super good out of the box, great for when your first getting into flipping. My experience with it was good at the beginning, but after about 2 weeks of using it, the screws became super loose, became louder, and it just felt like it was going to break every time I used it. Never broke on me, but overall its okay.

I think this has potential, if some modifications were made. Overall, the feel and quality is amazing. However, the product arrived with lubricating oil all over the entire balisong. It made it a mess to test it out, as oil was all over my hands, even after using a paper towel to try and absorb the excess oil. Luckily the oil was clear and odorless and washed off my hands easily.I really like the feel of the handles and the quality overall. It flipped very smoothly, and really enjoyed the sound of it! However, I did not like the "fin" on the spine of the blade. I know it is supposed to look similar to another specific brand's blade design, but this is unnecessary. The fin has the ability to hurt you as you use it, though it won't cut you.If they were to redesign this with a different blade shape, and use less oil to lubricate, I think this could be the perfect option for those seeking a practice trainer Balisong. Will be on the lookout if they choose to redesign this!

It flips and feels so much better than the squiddy. Don’t let the price of this bali fool you…it’s so Shmexy. So just buy it dude, you won’t regret it.

I have the squid Krake Raken and bought this as a trainer. Couldn’t be happier, can’t tell the difference between this $30 trainer and the $280 Raken. You get the same sound while flipping, smoothness is the same at a fraction of the cost. After seeing this product I can’t see paying the price for a squid Bali again. I know there’s obviously a huge difference in a trainer and live blade but with the price difference there’s no question. Milling and feel is very similar to the krake Raken so if you’re looking for a cheaper training option don’t hesitate to buy this. 100 percent happy with the quality and performance
