The stickers are a waste and the biggest reason I was purchasing. The rest was good.

This is really a nice assortment, including a set of new sponges and holders, along with some little dome covers and two sets of the liquid fertilizer I've become familiar with.Unfortunately, one reason I wanted this set was the extra protective stickers. My area is extremely dry, and my last batch of lettuce is having some drying out issues with the sponges, so I was hoping to seal things up a bit with the stickers, however the set only came with 12 instead of the indicated 28 stickers. I guess I'll see how well they help and just craft my own from tape if the idea works well, but this was really the only disappointment from this set for me. Overall, for the current list price of $15, this is a great combo for a refill for my hydroponic garden!

Great for growing herbs indoors, fresh herbs year round

With nearly a dozen Aerogarden-style gardens, I've gotten my share of refills through both miracle grow and 3rd parties; this one is a great price for anyone needing to restart a garden - or two - from scratch and keep it running for months!The labels aren't really necessary for me, but I would mention to anyone planning to use them that theres not really a "blank" spot, so seeing your writing might get difficult past the seedling stage. There are twice as many sponges as cups, but that's fine as some are going to be re-used, where the sponges are one and done. The sponges themselves are decent quality, and the cups thin enough to easily cut if needed for re-potting. The food is your standard 2 part dry mix that you dissolve on water, and there's a second bottles worth of both as well; these work essentially the same as the pre-mixed miracle grow stuff, but have a longer shelf life.I'd recommend anyone needing extras, or who maybe got a secondhand garden, grab this cheap refill set over the name brand stuff any day!

We tried to grown some lettuce with these pods. The lettuce did come up fine and it grew as expected. We had no issues to report. Instructions were clear and easy to understand and follow.
