My husband enjoyed putting this together. Took him about 7 hours in total. Some of the parts were hard to find but they were all there at least. Good quality and looks really cool.

For all those geeky teens (and adults) forget Lego and buy them this for hours of fun (and peace and quiet!!) fantastic looking and great quality..a great gift and value for money

If you take time to look through the diagrams to get a feel for the methods, you shouldn't make any mistakes,There are clear instructions (pictures) of the pieces needed for a particular task then a picture of the completed task. Make sure you pay attention to the colour of the pieces listed and you won't go wrong. For reference, the author has used shaded pieces in the pictures so that the reader can diffentiate between what has already been constructed and and the current task at hand. If you have poor eyesight like me, it may be a struggle at first until you find your rhythm.Recommended!Update!I've completed the backpack! Phew! Only took me 8 hours but not a mistake made. Just 800 pieces to go!It has dawned on me that there are several sections in the guide that could be constructed at the same time, say by 2 or 3 individuals. This of course would cut the total construct time in half at least. Of course, you would have to have faith in your workmates skills, not just in building but also following the guide exactly, to do the tasks to the same standard as yourself and the guide of course. 😇Update!Astranaut completed, well nearly. Discovered 2 vital pieces missing to do with the connection of the helmet configuration without which would make the final build unstable.I emailed JMBricklayer who were sympathetic and got straight on the case to send me the parts needed. 40th birthday present for my husband, he really enjoyed making it. Unfortunately like others have mentioned there are pieces missing and one of the hands doesn't stay attatched as it should, so that was slightly disappointing. Other than that it's a great lego figure

I found this model engaging and built it over 4 days as I like to complete a section a day. The instructions were excellent and all pieces plus a few spares included. The stickers are better than the other brick-building company.I headphones were a bit fiddly but I got there in the end. All in all a great build😁

Well presented easy to follow instructions and individual packaging labelling Good quality pieces, none missing and a small few spares. Pieces fit together very well. Not really a fully playable piece after completion, more suited for display. Lovely details.

The packaging of this kit is really premium. The bricks are sorted in to plastic bags that are numbered 1 to 4 which refers to the the way the steps are laid out in the instruction booklet. The plastic bags have a super cute print on them all.The instruction booklet is really well printed on very thick paper (I kept thinking I was turning multiple pages over it was so thick). All steps are diagrams and clearly printed, the only issue is the vinyl sticker numbers on the diagram prints are very small and hard to read.The bricks are sized to match with the market leading brands of building blocks. However this is where the similarity stops. The clutch on the bricks is very low and this means that the object is very fragile, not only once built but importantly whilst building. This means the slightest amount of pressure can cause pieces to break off and as you need a lot of pressure to get the bricks to seat together you can imagine what happens.Out of the 4.5 Hours spent building this figure I can safely say about 2 of those were spent rebuilding. One particular issue was a piece that connects both sides of the rear of the helmet was constantly falling off and when introducing the back pack it just would not angle so that it would fit and I had got to the stage where I was ready just to throw the whole thing back in the box and give up. In the end I left it off as it does not provide any structural integrity to the figure as a whole.There are also some issues with the design of the figure which increase the fragility. The black and white bubble at the back of the helmet is comprised of 4 quarter circles and 4 slices. These are held in place by a total of 12 short studs which are nowhere near enough to hold such large pieces securely in place.Overall, this was a very frustrating build but once completed he does look really cute on my shelf. I just wish he was as sturdy as builds from the market leaders. My first JMBricklayer build and what a joy! - The parts were high quality, loved the metallic parts (gold and silver, which were better packed than Lego), the finished product looks great. My only complaint is that the instructions at times were a little vague and the colour co-ordination of instructions disappeared at times, with a largely grey and white build it was sometimes difficult to determine. Probably not a build for a first up learner, but well worth the time. Well done JM
