AB Scientific Clobberizer - Car & Van Deodoriser

I used this product on my new (second hand) car that I had recently purchased, after finding out a previous owner was a smoker. It wasn't obvious at first as it didn't appear to have stuck to the carpets etc. It was when the heater came on that I "discovered" it. Anyway, I asked a professional mobile car valeter can they get rid of the smell, with the answer being "of course we can, don't believe all the hearsay!". I paid for them to deodorise the interior including ventilation and I also replaced the interior cabin filter, and that worked for about 4 days. Then the smell started to creep back.With all faith lost in someone else being able to do it, I looked into various different methods of clearing it myself. After reading the website information on this Clobberizer, I decided to give it a go. I followed instructions and left in my car for ~20 hours. Half way through this I ran the engine with the climate control on high fan, low temp and cabin air recirculation. This was run for about 20 minutes.Result: Car no longer has nasty smoke smell with heater on or off and this is about 2 weeks later so far. The chemical / chlorine smell some reviewers complained about was nowhere near as bad as was suggested, for me anyway. There was a slight smell for a day or so afterwards, but that soon dissipated and there were no residual marks left behind. I have a car with leather and suede interior as well as usual carpets, and it has left no trace behind.Would I recommend it? Yes. It worked exactly how it was supposed to. How refreshing.

What an amazing product! I recently bought a second hand car and have spent a lot of money getting it back to a "nearly new" condition. Unfortunately the previous owners obviously transported dogs in the car and there was an unpleasant smell in the background. I paid a professional valet company to deep steam clean the the inside of the car, seats, carpets, everything. This cost me £200 and, afterwards, there was still the lingering smell of wet dog. While searching Amazon for a deodoriser, I came across "Clobberizer" and decided to give it a go. Last night, I followed the instructions and activated the product in the car. This morning, when opening the door there was a faint smell of chlorine, similar to what you get in a swimming pool, but no dog. The chlorine smell has now dissipated and the car smells of, well, nothing at all. Absolutely brilliant!

Expected great things , after reviews say how good it is I bought to try and rid car I just got of foggy smell, tried everything, bicarbonate. Vinegar. Enzyme removal spray, zoflora. Found this , left in 24 hours. Lovely it was. Then after 1 hour in sun with windows up in car doggy smell still there.So I can only say. It don’t work

I bought this for use on a hire van which a customer had kindly used to transport fish! The resulting smell was so bad the van couldn't be hired out. Willing to try anything I bought this. It has made an enormous difference but not cleared it completely however hopeful it will fade more with lots of 'airing'!

Your product arrived and we thought how simple it all looked. Good clear instructions and easy to use. We followed the instructions slowly and true. 24hrs is the time we decided to leave the product for as we all hate this cigarette smell. Upon opening we noticed a small chemical smell but once aired that cleared to leave nothing. No cigarette smell or smoke smell,we were very happy for a week. Then slowly the smell has returned. Not as strong as before but nevertheless it has returned. Please give us some advice. Thank you.

Instructions are easy to follow. You do need to follow them exactly. If you do, the product is really effective at destroying hidden odours caused by bacteria deep within car seats and carpets. After use it does leave a chlorine smell for a few days. After the chlorine smell had gone, I used a car air conditioning cleaner to eradicate any bacteria that may still exist in the air circulation system. My car now smells like a new car, the animal smell has not returned and I am recommending this product to my friends and family.

I have tried other brands of deodoriser in my car to rid it of the smell that was present when the fan/heating system was turned on. I was advised to try clobberiser by the garage that I purchased the car from.It has been a week since I used it and the smell seems to have disappeared. I found the product easy to use. The residual taint of a bleach type odour was minimal and far better than the wet dog smell that had been present previously. So far so good. I am happy to recommend this product and would use it again.

I bought a car for my wife that had been previously owned by a dog owner. The car had "damp doggy smell" that wouldn't go even after a professional valet. I was recommended 'Clobberizer' and bought it as a last resort. Instructions suggested best results would be achieved within 24 hours. I was able to use/leave Clobberizer for 48 hours - the result was INCREDIBLE - All traces of damp dog and other musty old smells were totally banished. I would recommend this for cars, caravans etc.
