Pyrex has always been my favorite and for years I have collected various shaped and sizes for every dish I need to prepare and serve. This particular bowl was perfect for the biryani I wanted to prepare and cook in the oven. It is also good for a beef stew and various other dishes. The special feature is the lid which is one of the main reasons I bought this dish.

I like to casserole meat joints and my existing casserole was too small for some of my joints. This item enables me to cook larger meat joints easily. Very happy with size and sturdiness. Well packaged.

Purchased this having checked the base was actually 3.5 litres. It's not. Base is 3l and the lid is 0.5l. There is some Gallic logic operating here me thinks.Otherwise an excellent product and good value for money.

Love pyrex. Got a bit fed up of the slow cooker as nothing browns and family prefer stuff cooked in the oven but needed something big enough for family of 5 adults. This is ideal for casseroles cottage pies curries,braising steak etc. Good well fitting lid and little handles for getting it out the oven. Stick it in the oven on lowest setting and it's as good as a slow cooker.

It arrived with a chipped lid. I decided to keep it and not do a return.Pyrex have a good reputation and will use it a lot. Packaging could have been better to protect item in transit

I bought this size Pyrex dish to roast small chickens (<1.3 kg) It is very good as you can see the meat cooking without having to remove the glass lid. As it is all glass I can use it in my combination microwave oven and when done it is so easy to clean. So pleased I chose this Pyrex dish.

I have a large microwave oven and was looking for a suitable lidded pyrex dish to cook rice, reheat casseroles etc.This fits the bill perfectly and I wouldn't be without it now.
