Cauldryn Fyre Mobile

Wow I am really impressed with Cauldryn. I camp a lot in remote areas, my routine is to make a pot of coffee, but by the 2nd cup its getting cold. I used my Cauldryn last week to keep my coffee warm all morning, and did it for 3 or 4 days without running out of battery. So far I am really impressed. Next trip is backpacking into remote area in New Mexico, I plan to use it for freeze dried meals as well. Meanwhile its gonna be my work commute mug. I really like this thing, unique and functional. Oh and I was able to charge my cell phone on it during my trip as well.Three weeks later - I have since purchased a second Cauldryn, and have used both of them extensively. One I pretty much keep in my home/car for my daily work commute. The other I keep charged up with my camping gear. We just returned from a week of camping in Arizona, and I used mine daily, mostly for keeping my coffee warm. We had some chilly mornings. Twice I used it for food prep - one night I used it to make a Mountain House freeze-dried dinner, and another I made ramen noodles in it. I like it because its an easy way to make a quick warm meal without having to fire up the camp stove. So I still have no complaints after buying 2 of them, and keep finding ways to make it more useful.

Below is my original review where i gave it a 4 star rating, i'm now reducing it to 2 stars. I bought this about 1.5 years ago and used it about 3 dozen times. I tried to use it this last weekend but despite having a full charge, it only warmed the water before the battery was dead rendering this product useless to me. So I question the quality of the battery or perhaps the lot that mine came from? I don't know, but for the cost, it should last longer and work better. I'm back on the search for a more reliable solution to this concept.Original Review:It's just ok. I would have rated it higher, but compared to the cost, it's not that great. I don't know how people can use it for a week without charging it. On a full charge, I can boil water only once, a second attempt will only heat the water and then die. For my use, that's ok. I bought it specifically so I can boil water for coffee in the morning without impacting my house batteries in my van, and then recharge it later in the day when I'm making full power on solar. But when I don't have enough sun to recharge it that day, it would have been nice for it to work more than once. I do wish it had a direct 12v charger so I wouldn't need to waste efficiency going through my inverter.

After initially posting a review with 2 stars due to my bottle’s leaky cap and unchargeable battery, I have changed it to 4 stars after speaking to customer service. They were very nice and offered to send me a new mug and battery. I continue to be excited about using this mug as it is very convenient.

This is a really cool and innovative product. It's definitely part of my arsenal of functional day to day carry-ons /tools for both at the job and on the go. Aside from doing exactly what it says it does, it looks pretty bad-ass. I am really impressed by how quick it can warm up whatever liquid I put in it. I no longer have to rush and try to drink my coffee or tea before it cools down. I can actually take my time and enjoy it. For me, the first temperature setting in Maintain (124-134 Degree Fahrenheit) is just right.Also, there customer service is great! I called them after hours, left a message and by the next morning, someone from the company reached out and answered all my questions in a very friendly and professional manner! I am really looking forward to seeing this company grow and the products they will be coming out with.

I wanted to love this, but it's just not what I expected. The Cauldron Fyre does boil water and maintain liquids at a variety of temperatures. However, it is only useful if it is sitting on a flat surface that has no movement. It not only leaks, but the lid will also pop off if there is any sort of movement. I learned this while driving. As I turned a corner, the lid flew off and how water spilled all over the front passenger seat. Thankfully, the seat was empty.I promptly called Cauldryn to report the malfunction. When I tried to screw the lid on, it was almost as if it was stripped. Cauldryn's customer service was very responsive. They quickly sent me a replacement unit. Unfortunately the exact same thing happened with the replacement unit. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because it does boil and heat liquid. Because of the issue with the lid, I can't even use it as a thermos. It's impossible to drink or pour liquid out without it leaking everywhere. I literally use it to boil water for tea when I'm traveling and nothing else. Like I said, I really wanted to love this. I even bought the battery and the car accessory. Unless I just happened to get 2 defective units, there seems to be a flaw with the design.

Was so excited to use this product. It actually was an awesome product for about three uses. Then the lid to the unit would no longer seal or tighten so coffee just leaks out when pouring. Very very disappointed for what I paid to have it not work after just three uses. Unfortunately when I bought it was in the summer so I did not use it for a few months. When I finally did I was so excited as it worked great. But again three uses into it and it is of no use to me when I can not keep bottle sealed properly. Not happy as it is not under warranty. Will have to spend my money on an EMBER now as I was going to originally. I want to add that I did place a call to Cauldryn so I will give them a chance to see if they truly do back up their product as their website states it does. Update***** I wanted to update this review to 5 stars. Despite the issue we had with the broken lid. We were able to get in touch with customer service and they were very kind and corrected the problem. The turn around was awesome. Got a new and improved lid and we are totally loving our Cauldryn! Now we can use it for all of the wonderful uses it offers!! Thank you Hunter in customer service!!

I ordered a NEW Cauldryn Fyre Mobile 2. What I got was a USED, UNCLEANED Cauldryn, which i returned within an hour of receiving it. It may or may not do what it claims, but I didn't waste my time finding out.

火気を使わない方がよい山頂でお湯を沸かしてカップ麺を食べるために購入しました常温では約450mlの水を2回沸騰させる程度のバッテリー容量がありますお湯は沸くと自動停止します実際に山頂で使用したところ気圧が低いため沸点が下がり、沸いても100℃に達しないため、自動停止しませんでしたので高度が高いところでは温度計による管理が必要ですまた蓋のパッキンは水密が弱いため、ボトルが横倒しになると内容物が少しずつ漏れますので、携行時には注意が必要です追記パッキンの水密が弱い問題はパッキンを一度取り外してシールテープを巻くことで漏れなくなりました60度弱で保温する機能もあり肉類の低温調理にも重宝します
