Prince Cinders

I have bought a number of Babette Cole books now because they feel really contemporary but also appeal to the little one's naughty sense of humour! Prince Cinders is no exception. It is a twist on the traditional Cinderella story but with added humour; the `Fairy Godmother' who is largely incompetent and a boy who is forced to go out looking utterly ridiculous.Not only are they positive in tone, they are funny and lovely to read. The illustrations compliment the story beautifully and, of course, there is a traditional happy ending!Highly recommended.

Great book for 5 yer olds

bought a lot of picture books. This author's picture books have always been my favorite. The style of painting is simple and interesting. My picture books are all bought by myself. On the one hand, it is a reference for learning. On the other hand, I should keep a childlike innocence. Only in this way can we live happily!

Love this story, good for boys as well as girls. Excellent illustrations.

This is a great book, I have a son and the Cinderella story is a bit girly, I think this is a great alternative story to the traditional Cinderella especially for boys.

lovely condition excellent story for class

This was a great story to engage boys. It was good for the children to hear the story of Cinderella then hear Prince Cinders. Lots of opportunities for comparing and contrasting.

Such a fun story. My students loved it and chose it as one of the best versions of Cinderella. Funny illustrations too!

I was expected more, i received a book which looked kind of used and wanted do sent back, i reslly did not like the story as i expected, my daughter neither, i choose to send it back but they contact me n saud they re gonna send me a NEW book:/ so i just keot the old one and never gonna read it again, it tries its best to be funny n amusibg and femenist but, NO THANKS!
