Great heatpad, super soft
Great heatpad, bought as a second one to keep at my partner's house. Really long cable which is really handy, the cover is lovely and soft and the heatpad gets nice and hot. It's a great size too, nice and big it covers my stomach and back well.

Where's the heat????
This is listed as being a CosyMatt product. The product that arrived was made by Silvercrest, which I've always understood (although I may be wrong) to be Lidl's own/in-house electrical brand. I've used Silvercrest products from Lidl with no complaints in the past, but the same cannot be said for this product. The heat, even on the the hottest setting, is negligible. After doing some reading around I understand this is a common complaint with modern versions of heating pads i.e. they're now made super-safe by not actually getting very hot. Having owned an older heating pad for years, which got up to a decent temperature, and was great for helping with a bad back, I'm very disappointed to say the least. What is the point in making a heat pad that doesn't get hot? This is utterly pointless. I will be returning the product.

had to return the heating pad due to requiring to be reset [ no button to press for reset ] other than that was a very good heating pad
I purchased for my wife who has a lot of pain in her knees Arthritis.had to return the heating pad due to requiring to be reset [ no button to press forreset ] other than that was a very good heating pad . What I found with the pad is that the length of cable between plug and product was very generous around 2 metres.

brilliant!
I have sciatica and this heat pad, on a low setting, has meant I can more or less sleep through the night without taking painkillers. I love the fact that it has 6 different heat settings too, really helps.

there are times when I'd have found it useful to be able to remove the CONTROL UNIT PLUG
It's comforting. However, there are times when I'd have found it useful to be able to remove the CONTROL UNIT PLUG, which is attached to the cable - alas, the instruction manual doesn't indicate whether or not this is possible.See the Silver Crest INSTRUCTION MANUAL, Ref IAN 75528 - details on Page 2, 31 & 33.Your feedback would be greatly appreciated, please.

Really good. Hot enough — which is The Point
This has six heat settings and on bare skin, I find I need to drop to four or five. This is a huge improvement on most other, tepid pads. It’s certainly doing my back some good. Heat is, of course, entirely the point of these things, so a nanny-knows-best tepid jobbie is a waste of time and money.

Broken?
Zipper inside out and the pull tag missing.Power is supplied to the controller, we could adjust the power level, but the blanket would not heat up after one hour of waiting.Returned!

Great product
Excellent product. Love this heat pad. It works well and is washable which is fabulous as I am disabled and can drop things! In use nearly every day. 6 settings so can vary heat as needed.
