Works great for the Essential phone.
Working great on the Essential PH-1 phone. I ordered two others before that didn't work, they were missing the D-A converter chip that is required for phones like the PH-1 and Pixel. I wanted a backup for when I left my original at home or car etc. Sounds and works as good as the OEM cable. I only wish it was a braided cable, and or available with a 90° angled USB-C connection. Also would be great to be able to charge and listen to music at the same time...the only solution currently available that works for the Essential or Pixel is the $45 Moshi USB-C audio + charge cable.

Broken after 3 months of use
Too expensive to be breaking after 3 months of use.I live in NY, use earphones a lot taking the subway, walking everywhere, and gym.Lots of in-out activity of pockets and bag.The item itself feels very sturdy and secures the male audio cord from wired earphones exceptionally well.I think the rigid quality makes it unmalleable and causes the breakage of internal wires if bent.I understand the bending of wires degrades the product, but the cost is really too high for having such an integral design flaw.Going to invest in wireless now since two of these faulty wires amount to a decent set of earpods.

Solid Build, no Mic Support
Very solid quality! Lasted through some tough treatment and holds onto the analog cord very well. Only works as a headphone set and not as a mic+headphone for those with earbuds or OTE headphones that have a mic on them. Still, very good overall! I have a set of Pioneer HiRes Audio headphones (about $50 at Frys) and the sound is fantastic.

Does not work with HTC U Play
The product looks fine, and I had no problems with the delivery. However, I was looking for a cable that would work with HTC devices and it just didn't work with the HTC U Play. I'm just disappointed because HTC has been out of stock forever and this product said it was compatible with HTC, but it didn't work.I don't think the item itself deserves 2 stars if it does indeed work with other phones (I wouldn't know), but I can't give it anymore than that because it did not work with my phone, which is what I bought it for.

Great Sound
I lost my adapter for my essential ph-1, and am glad to find one that finally works!! The DAC chip in this one is of high quality. It's a noticeable sound improvement over the cheap Google Pixel dongle. The build quality is nice, although the cord itself is a bit longer than it needs to be. The connection is secure for both the USB port, and the 3.5 mm jack. It won't fall out if you're working out. Sound quality provides a full, dynamic sound stage. Overall, very happy with it!!!Note: I received the product and invited for an unbiased review.

Tried twice - merging to Bluetooth - upgrade
I bought this hoping to use it with my Google pixel 2. They shipped quickly and it worked for about a few days after opening a week after. then I used it while I was out door for an cycling activity and at the end of the day, the cord didn't work anymore. So I sent them a message and they promptly resent me another USB C connector. For my second cord, I kept it more mint an didn't use it much, I had it coiled up to be safe in my portable battery for about a week after being away traveling and I can honestly say that I would highly not recommend getting these. As I just tried to plug it in to use, the cord simply does not attach with the USB C port properly,I have to wiggle it around. After 2 attempts with this cord company I'm gona just gonna go Bluetooth an see how that works out for me.1star for product delivered.2 star for fast shipping3 star for cusormer service + replacementOverall if you are not active like I am, I don't think this will hold up. Best go the Bluetooth method since phones are moving to USB C attachments now... cheers

Terrible adapter
When I received this product for my Google pixel 2XL in the mail it was mangled and part of it was melted. I thought it was superficial, until I plugged it in. sound only came out of the right earpiece unless I giggled the adapter around in my phone, which is not ideal or practical by any means. There is no reason you sound buy this product for any reason, it is overpriced and is not worth the package it was shipped in

Works great with my Pixel 2 XL
Works great with my Pixel 2 XL. Hopefully it lasts longer than the 2 days that the one with phone lasted. Will compare sound quality when I get my replacement google one. So far from what I remember this one sounds better.
