For the Great Wolf!
An excellent read from start to finish and I regularly had difficulty tearing myself away from these books. One of the few flaws I found with the books was the distinct lack of Sven whom I thoroughly missed as he an Ragnar had such a great relationship. The addition of new characters was very welcome, especially since they were well fleshed out for the most part.I found the previous Omnibus to be a stronger read, however the second is still an exemplary read.

A book of two halves
This omnibus really demonstrates the difference in writing quality between William King and the Lee Lightner. Not having read anything else by the two authors calling themselves Lee Lightner I'm not sure if the problems seen in the last novels of this omnibus are due to a lack of writing ability or the difficulties in continuing someones woek, but this collection noticably drops off after the strong start of wolfblade. While the last two novels plotting is competent, the characters lose all depth and humanity making it hard to care about the events going on. While not a rubbish book, I'd recommend you just buy Wolfblade on its own instead.

which is good. Right
Well written but, basically, just a straight forward repeat of the first Omnibus. With 40K stories, you always know what you are getting...which is good. Right?

Bloody brilliant
Haven't put this book down yet, did not know what to expect from this but it has blown my expectations sky high, some other black libary books are slow but this is brilliant
