As I have now been unemployed for a good couple of years, and during this time I found a much better way to spend my time, playing GTA(grand theft auto) for people who do not understand the abbreviation and collecting delicious benefits. But now I feel its time to get off my arse and not to give back to the community but rather to continue taking. This lockpick set has given me an insight to my future; my future of crime which im sure will be rewarding. Aside from my life story this is a great beginner set for lockpicking, a good purchase. P

I got this set to use in conjunction with a cutaway padlock. My perspective is a novice's one as I am new to the field of lock picking which I find akin to doing a jigsaw puzzle - challenging and compelling. The 5 tools are supplied in a neat wallet and look and feel well made making them ideal as an introduction. The book which is more of a booklet at circa 30 pages is also very helpful, although somewhat US centric. In summary, a good value bundle.

Bought this as a gift for a friend of mine and he loves them. His face almost lit up when he saw them as he's always wanted a lock pick set. It arrived within the estimated delivery date. I have given four stars because the book that comes with it isn't great, not as informative as it could be, and the picks themselves are not the highest quality but for the price they are totally worth it for someone who has never used a set before. All in all 4/5.

I bought this product because I was interested in how locks work, and this seemed the cheapest book, and came with the picking tools. Unfortunately the booklet only covers the workings of a few types of lock, and has nothing I didn't already know.Really this is my fault, but other books seemed much more expensive. I have no plans to actually pick a lock and haven't used the tools, but they seem well made and am sure they will do what they are supposed to. I don't regret this purchase, and I daresay if I find an old padlock I'll give it a go as the tools do look like they mean business.I would have been better off buying the cut-away locks where you can see the workings, but they were more expensive than I could justify for my curiosity. Very pleased with the speed of delivery, and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the supplier, but this product is possibly not enough. A beginner would want a bigger book, and a serious lock-picker might want more tools.Still, as I've already said, I don't regret the purchase.

I am starting to get into lock picking and i bought this small set to start me off. This is awesome for beginners. I will add to it as i get more experienced in picking various locks.The booklet that is included is very good aswell. within minutes i was able to pick my first lock and once you get the hang of it it is very easy!Overall? Awesome buy. Would highly recommend

I found this little booklet a help as a very beginner to locksmithing, the tool kit I have pick a couple of yale locks in hand. The leather case is handy, but the torque bar could have been smaller at the insertion end.But over all a nice little kit take anywhere to practise with. Very simple, slim set of four tools plus torsion bar in tidy case. Instructions a bit basic but OK. I was able to open my first lock (brass padlock type) in about 30 mins. Next step would be to invest in the multi lock training board. Price was good and delivery up to usual Amazon standards, ie excellent.

This is a great item for anybody just starting or have a interest in becoming a locksmith ,The small book is very informative and a great help, I lost my key to me shed ,with the help of this book and the set of picks ,I was able to open the padlock within a few minuets never having had any experience of lock picking before.Well worth the price.
