Ink is ink! Printer manufacturers are a**holes
I have a Brother MFC-J4410DW, which uses 4 LC-123 cartridges. The "genuine" cartridges cost £60, which is a total rip off in my opinion. These 10 cartridges, for 10% of the cost of the 4 genuine ones are fantastic value for money, however, your printer may not like them. The first thing I noticed is they're clear, unlike the "genuine" ones, which is great for checking if your printer is lying to you about the ink being low. They don't have the twist off cap over the ink outlet like the "genuine" cartridges, instead they are sealed with a film which gets pierced when you plug it into the printer.I plugged 4 into my printer, everything seemed fine, it wasn't long until my printer started telling me the ink was low, however when I took out the cartridges they were still ~90% full, so I plugged them back in and the printer detects them again, and now they are full. The Cyan ink was the first to be replaced, even though it was still ~50% full, my printer kept refusing it, claiming it was empty. Now the Magenta ink has been recognised as not "genuine" by the printer and it keeps displaying messages about using "genuine" ink.Overall, I still think this product is worth it, even if some cartridges have to be thrown away and replaced while still full of ink, because your stupid printer will not accept them.Try them out, they're inexpensive, and even taking into consideration the fact that they are occasionally rejected by your printer, at 10% of the cost, they still offer better value for money than the "genuine" cartridges.

Can recommend
Had a bit of messing around getting these to load but they did eventually.I actually had a problem with the printer with some jets in the nozzle not working correctly on a test page. After a couple of days using these low and behold it has cleared and now all jets working fine in the print head.Much cheaper than originals, don't think they last quite as long but at a fraction of the price who cares.

Really good value.
I have been using these cartridges for some years now and have not been disappointed. They represent good value and excellent quality. The mixture ratio of the different colours always means I come to the end of one batch before needing to reorder; there's never any cartridges left over. Not sure how they do that. I would thoroughly recommend.

Great colour at an affordable price.
i don't use these for printing photographs at the moment, but they do reproduce graphics and print exceptionally well and the price is unbelievable compared to what i would be expected to pay if i bought the printer manufacturer'soffering. The only moan i have, and i'm sure other ink users have found this, when the printer says no ink, there is, more often than not, an amount remaining that would be sufficient for a goodly amount of pages, having said this of course, theink is fantastically inexpensive.

Not compatible with my Brother DCP-J552DW printer
These cartridges are not recognised by my Brother DCP-J552DW. After every single printing operation, whether its printing from my PC or copying using the scanner/copier the printer tells me that the cartridge is not recognised. I bought a pack of 10 of these cartridges and initially after having installed the first cartridge, I thought it was a one off faulty ink cartridge, but this is not so as subsequent cartridges experience the same problem. The pages that are actually printed are fine but having to physically remove and reinstall the cartridge after each printing operation is totally unacceptable,These cartridges are certainly not compatible with my Brother DCP-J552DW

Excellent
These cartridges are better than the official ones I had to return. Worked first time, great quality.

Work for me!
Bought for my MFC-J6520DW. No recognition problems at all. May not be Brother inks but work perfectly for day to day and volume printing. I have another printer for photographic printing so no experience of photo prints. At this price it is an absolute no brainer. The combination of 2 full sets plus 2 extra blacks works for me. Just ordered more.

Great quality and great price
These are great quality cartridges for a fraction of the cost if I bought Brother cartridges. They last the same amount of time and the quality of the black and colour are excellent
