I initially thought there was something wrong with the meter or leads but it turned out there was a coating on the metal probes which was causing a bad contact after cleaning the probes with some contact cleaner it works well. Although the 1mA resolution on a DC signal is not useable due to the slightest movement of the meter the reading changes (presumably due to the earths magnetic field)

The meter itself appears to be well built. I was not impressed with the wire test leads however. I would be hesitant to use them to measure 600 volts hanging on to them. That said it quite an adequate test meter for many applications. I measured AC amps and used a clamp on meter to compare readings. They were very close.The ohmmeter and dc voltmeter functions are the most often used by me. They are accurate enough compared to my Fluke meter.At this price point its an excellent buy.

La maggiorparte delle pinze amperometriche proposte sono dimensionate per grandi carichi (600A, 1000A), che difficilmente chi non è un professionista su impianti industriali trova. In una abitazione privata difficilmente si superano picchi di 50A. Le pinze con quelle portate hanno quindi una bassa risoluzione. Cercavo una pinza ad alta risoluzione, precisa soprattutto in CC, dato che costruisco spesso apparati alimentati a batteria. la ACM92 è risultata perfetta. risoluzione in CC di 1mA, ed in CA di 0,1mA, portata massima 100A. Dato che una recensione la dichiarava imprecisa (fuori specifiche dichiarate), la ho voluta provare. In CA, nella portata minima (600mA) in effetti è fuori specifica, sulla misura della corrente di una lampada a LED indicava 43mA invece di 48mA, l'errore è del 10%, fuori dalle specifiche dichiarate. IN CC invece ha mostrato errori entro specifica, addirittura migliori (tipicamente 1%) nel range 0,5-4 A.Anche le misure di tensione CC, tensione CA e resistenza sono risultate abbondantemente entro specifica. Per questo motivo è un acquisto che consiglio.

Es gibt das Gerät ACM91 und ACM92. Ich habe das ACM92 gekauft, weil es einen erweiterten Strombereich bis 600mA AC hat mit 0,1mA Auflösung (!). Ziel war es, den Fehlerstrom im Garten zu suchen, der einen 30mA FI-Schalter auslöste. Die Idee den Fehlerstrom durch Messung des kompletten 3 bzw. 5 adrigen Kabels einzukreisen ist tatsächlich auf Anhieb gelungen. Durch Messung der Einzeladern, wurde das Ergebnis bestätigt. Durch Drehen des Steckers war klar, dass eine Ader einen Erdschluss hat. Jetzt muss ich sehen, ob das ein Nagetier war :-)Im Vergleich ACM91/ACM92 hat das ACM91 weit mehr Messfunktionen, aber die erweiterte Strommessung mach das beim ACM92 wett.Zuvor hatte ich ein anderes Gerät gekauft, das zwar 6000 digits hatte, aber im Strombereich eingeschränkt war und bei 60A nur 0,1A (!!) Auflösung hatte. Defacto wurden dann erst 0,2A angezeigt. Das ist dann dafür völlig unbrauchbar. Man muss also aufpassen.
