update:There was apparently an issue with my testbed and these dimmers work much, much better in the actual installation. My guess is the very short leads I was using on the workbench allowed the devices to interfere with each other. In the actual project the wires are much thicker and longer. The control range is about 40° of rotation now and there is only the slightest of interference between the units and only at certain settings.Changed rating from 2 to 5 stars. It would be nice to have a way to set the "low" and "high" points of the knob rotation.original review:The entire range from off to 100% bright occurs within about 5 degrees of knob rotation and it is nearly impossible to set a precise light level. As the description stated "for LEF lights or ribbon 3528 5050 strip" I am using the dimmer with a 10W LED floodlight. I have tried all four of the units I ordered and they all have the highly over-sensitive, narrow range of dial control area.These go back.

Works well and does what I wanted it to do. Have had no issues or problems.

bought this for a fraction of what the retailer of LED products was asking for the same item. works OK, but is not super precise. you get what you pay for, but it did the job.

ORDERED THREE OF THESE FOR MY BOAT AND THE LIGHTS BURN FULL BRIGHTNESS NO MATTER WHAT THE POSITION. HOWEVER WHEN I PLUGGED IT INTO A WALL USING A POWER SUPPLY, THEY WORKED GREAT.

I hooked up this dimming controller to two 10 watt led lights and ran them and then ater a week of use the unit smells like burnt plastic and will no longer dim or turn off the lights. I was pretty bummed that at only 20 watts this thing burned out cant imagine it would even work close to the rated 8 amps. Too good to be true!!

Works as described. No Frills I Have 3 now.

Great product and it does a very nice job in dimming my led lights for a picture on the wall. Easy installation.

Using it to dim a strip of blue LEDs for an aquarium for a cool night effect. It has been on constantly for several months an is still working well.
