This is a cute stand to use for my cookbooks. I got it knowing that I wouldn't really be using the chalkboard (which feels almost like it's a sticker that was put on the stand that just happens to be able to get written on). The wire that holds the books didn't want to pop in correctly at first. It fits most of my recipe books, but the thicker ones don't fit as well. I have a thick Bisquick cookbook that pushes the wire out so far that you can tell the pages want to escape (and just may if you have your book in it for too long). Luckily, it fits most of the books I have, so it will definitely continue to be used.

This is a cute cookbook/tablet stand. Comes with chalk and eraser. The wood is kind of thin but because of the adjustable kickstand in the back it can hold all sorts of books, lightweight and heavy and give the perfect viewing angle. You can write something on the chalkboard if not showcasing a cookbook on it but be sure to erase it before using a book or tablet on it, otherwise you will have chalk all over. This cookbook stand is functional, decorative and make a nice addition to a kitchen.

I like the style of this cookbook holder. It does a good job of holding my recipe books open. I found the chalkboard to be more decorative than functional. The chalk were all broken and only wrote very faintly on the chalk area. I think a better chalk might make a difference, but overall it's a cute board.

I really like this cookbook stand and the fact that it came with chalk and an eraser is fun. It seems well made and fits well in my kitchen. The only negative I have is that it does not accommodate all of my cookbooks as they are too thick, but otherwise it is a nice holder.

This is a super cool cookbook holder! It is made of solid wood and designed so that it can be left on the kitchen counter as a decorative (and functional) item, but also folds up easily for compact storage. The little blackboard has been created with flat blackboard paint and it’s really handy for calculating any recipe conversions. It also erases cleanly. This item even comes with its own blackboard eraser and chalk. The front rack is roomy enough to hold up a very large cookbook, and the back is very adjustable for holding a cookbook at different angles for better viewing. This item is definitely perfect for gift giving.

My wife has an extensive cookbook collection and this stand proved capable of holding any from the thinnest to the largest which is why I gave it 5 stars. I’d say the only drawback is the holder bar because if you use it as a stand for a tablet it blocks the view of the lower portion of the tablet, we use iPads and that area is where the dock is located so it could be a little difficult to use. The chalkboard is a cute design but if you have written or drawn on it you are risking getting chalk on your cookbook or tablet. My wife loves it and it will get lots of use!

This is a very cute cooking stand. It's easy to adjust the height level of the stand from the back. It comes with an eraser and small three piece chalk (broken by the way) for you to write a message on the mini black board on the stand. The only thing I don't care for is the little black rail to hold the book. That's not adjustable.. would've been nice if it was.
