This is my favorite thing! I have it in my car which has little built in back support and it makes long car rides much better for my body!! It’s definitely gotten a bit smushed over the years but still does the job!

The compliance lumbar support is perfect for petites and youths. i'm 5'3" and 110 pounds. I found the regular lumbar support too big for my body but this one is just right. i don't agree with other reviewers that it squishes to nothing. I found this lumbar support rather firm and in fact I will need to get used to it. It does provide the support I need in my lower back after surgery. I'll be using this in the car but may buy another to keep in the house. I recommend securing the elastic strap before putting it around the car seat. Just close and then slip the support over the top of the seat and down to your desired position. I also had to turn the lumbar support backwards with the zipper against me in order for the support to fit nicely into the concave of the seat.

A physical therapy evaluation determined that my leg pain was caused by my lower back. I was advised to get a small lumbar roll. I chose the McKenzie roll because it was described as small and soft, the price was good, and the therapist had McKenzie therapist on her card. The roll is comfortable. It may be the design of the chair, but the roll only stays in place when I lean against it. Sometimes when I get up, it falls off the chair. Since I've only been using the roll for a few days, the pain is in my leg, and I haven't started therapy yet, it is too soon to know if there will be pain relief.

Edit****The customer service for this company is excellent and even thought it is listed as non returnable, the company gave me a full refund for the product. I appreciated the help and support of them reaching out to me to resolve my issue! I have purchased other items in the past from OPTP and find them to be an excellent resource for products in the therapy market. Will use them again the future.The product was smaller than I had hoped for and is listed as not returnable. I purchased 2 different lumbar pillows for my car expecting to be able to return whichever one was not suitable. This one was a little too small and squishy but when I went to the return section to discover this product was not returnable. I guess I will be reading the fine print for every purchase I make on Amazon since some things are not returnable for no good reason. It was not a great product and if I could have seen it in a store, I wouldn't have bought it. The reason I use Amazon as a service for things is because I can return easily without question if an item isn't what it says it is.

I am 6 ft 185 pounds. This roll is very small; the photo is deceptive. Because of its small length the edges poke in your back and need constant readjustment. I would not recommend purchasing. Re comfort, if it were properly sized it would be fine. This is more suited for a child or someone petite.

My doctor told me to use these for any prolonged sitting. I have one at my desk, one in my car, a travel one, and a spare. Great quality and very helpful.

I had purchased the same lumbar roll by OPTP The Original McKenzie in 2023. I decided to buy a second one so I can work at different locations without having to haul it around with me. When I opened my package, what I saw was noticeably smaller than the previous one I bought. I was willing to let it go until I heard a swooshing sound each time I leaned away from it, whenever I got up from my chair for example. That's when I decided to write this review and post the photos because this is not ok.

I placed it on my car seat boy does it make it difference with how my back feels. Love it
