Great replacement for standard seat with awful plastic hinges.
After at least 7 broken hinge sets in 10 years on our standard Roca Giralda, enough was enough !! The last hinge set (dreadful plastic things) cracked in just two months.I decided to try this soft close seat instead and glad that I did ! Absolutely identical and compatible; fits directly to the same stems that the standard seat was attached to, and the soft close hinge does appear to be a sturdy metal lump - much better and hopefully will last a long time. Comes with the right size allen keys and a pair of stems.Bit pricey but hopefully this will solve the problem I had with the standard 'easy remove' plastic hinges.

Expensive but good
I never though I would spend that kind of money on a toilet seat, but I have to give credit where credit is due. this is top quality. I've add it for more than 6 months now and the seat has not moved a bit. The system keeps it in place extremely well so much better than the usual £30-40 seat. Further more, the material is easier to clear and still looks brand new after 6 months. I still took a star away as in my opinion, even the top quality does not warrant that price

Toliet seat
Excellent seller, was good they were able to supply the toliet seat we wanted. Hubby has fitted it, bit squeeky when putting the lid down, I can only assume this is normal and it will get better after a few more uses.

Returns policy
I had no idea of the short time frame for returning goods. I did not expect to find a chip on the seat lid so was not rushing to replace the old seat. Damaged goods should be returnable after four weeks and a day. This seat cost over a hundred pounds .I have offered to pay the postage cost and do not .know what more I can do.As " Prime members" . and good customers of Amazon I am hugely disappointed with your attitude to the problem.Please advise.yours faithfully,Anne Lockwood

Great replacement as appear not manufactured anymore by Roca. Delivery as advertised.

Perfect replacement for original 10 yr old seat
Arrived within 24h, proper original ROCA seat. This has the "cylindrical" hinges, I was a little worried as one image showed the seat without these but there was no problem. Took about 10m to whip the old one off and fix the new one in place. Good quality and great value at this price (£75ish).
