Destroy This Book in the Name of Science: Einstein Edition (Wreck This Activity Book)

This book about science for kids is so good! It kept my grand children happy for hours and they learned so much. Children can use it independently from about 8. Before that an adult needs to help a bit. Totally brilliant book!

Bought for an 11 year old girl. She loved it and has enjoyed the projects inside - which she can complete without needing adult input.

What a fantastic book! We bought four copies (yes, four!) at a book signing this afternoon that we'd happened across by chance. It's a fun, unique concept -- lots and lots of extremely well designed crafts to cut out and put together that illustrate different scientific concepts. Although we haven't had a chance to try any yet, we watched the author, Mike Barfield (who is a scientist and accomplished cartoonist and writer), demonstrate a number of them.The book is gorgeous, surprisingly good value at £9.99, and the sort of thing that would make a wonderful and unusual gift for any child in the 5 - 12 ish age range (though you could always buy it for a younger child to enjoy in the future -- ours are 2 and 4 and we bought copies for both of them, plus a couple for friends' birthdays!)A really wonderful find and, to be honest, I think my husband and I will have as much fun with it as the kids! :-)

Bought as a present for nephews and yet to give it them but first impressions are this is a very well written and thought out book. Looks fun and amazing tool to make science more accessible.
