Very attractive game, based around growing a tree full of living things to please the tree spirits. It has a nice intermediate level of complexity - good for playing with family or people who aren't usually board game enthusiasts, while still keeping interest for more strategic players. You can spend each turn calculating the best way to maximise points, or you can just enjoy the artwork as you watch your tree take shape. It's not too long a game, and the rules can be explained as you play without too much difficulty. It's also a pleasantly relaxing game: everyone is growing their own tree, and has their own goals, so you don't get in each other's way too much - it's less likely to cause a family argument than a lot of games!Because each player's goals can differ with each play (you have your own tree spirits who want particular things from your tree), I would say it has good replayability. It's also a style of game-play that I haven't come across before - it's a little like Carcassonne in terms of connecting tiles/cards for the maximum points, but the way points build up is quite unique, and you can connect the cards in a far more organic way. It's nice seeing your tree grow, the decisions you've made in the past twisting it into strange and unexpected shapes, and that's really enhanced by how pretty the art is. An enjoyable, flexible addition to a games collection.

It is very beautiful game with a beautiful artwork. It is fun to play with adults or children.A lot of variatons to grow your tree and enjoy time with your friends.It's not a heavy game and is easy to teach. Good filler game which is interesting but doesn't require a lot of thinking.I like the fact that it is very straight forward and the rules are easy to understand.Definitely recommend.

The game is pretty quick to pick up, as there are not many tracks to the game. It is a point-building game, so you will be adding up points at the end of each round and moving your token around the scoreboard. It is aesthetically pleasing, and I would find gameplay quite calming if my crazy and distractible 12-year old could help maintain a low-key environment. ;)

The game is beautifully produced and very easy to learn.I am disappointed that the box came with a crushed corner though (not from postage as outer packaging was ok). The corner of my point tracking board is all scrunched up. It’s playable, but makes me sad that my new game is not in mint condition :(

For a start the game is beautiful! I love the design of all the cards and playing pieces.It's not overly complicated, but it is a challenge!It comes with 2 sets of cards to play with. The normal set and a smaller beginners set. My partner and I found the beginner set useful when learning how to play the game.There's a little maths involved with the strategy of this game. Overall, I'm very happy with it and love sharing it with my friends!

Pretty game but I can't play it. NO one can. Nightmare!
