The media could not be loaded. It couldn't power a simple kettle which only required 600w of power. Also, the inverter got really hot and after just 2 minutes it shut down as its safety switch was triggered. The whole reason for this power inverter was to allow me to have a brew in my car but it failed miserably. I'm sending it back and don't bother with it.

This item is faulty

I ordered this to bring along when travelling in the trailer tent and it is an excellent piece of kit. This inverter Provides 1000W Watts continuous DC to AC power and 2000 Watts instantaneous power no matter where you are in the trailer tent. It has one 240v plug on it to charge larger items such as laptop or small tv but also provides a usb point which I charge my smaller devices like the phones and tablets on. The inverter is very compact and can easily be carried around great for camping trips. Very easy to use simple attach the alligator clips to the positive and neutral terminals on a battery and you are good to goof this is your choice of method or attach the cigarette lighter attachment to the car and you are good to go. Used to power small camping television and have charged phone and iPad off of this with no issues. 5 stars

This inverter is made from aluminium and plasticIt includes 2 types of connection there are a pair of copper crocodile clamps positive and groundThen there is a cigarette 12v connector you can easily change between them its easy to useIt has a power switch on or off it also has a fan for performance and cooling but as its also made from aluminium that helps dissipate any excess heat it looks good and works wellThis is the 12v 1000w version but there are lower and higher wattages available I'm very pleased with this unit and I think its perfect for a alternate power source when camping or on days out car enthusiasts and other uses very handy
