CRT-2 SouthOrd Spring Loaded Circular Tension Tool

I am a Locksmith and have always wondered about these circular tension tool. I bought one for in small enclosed spaces were you would struggle with a normal tension tool.I have only had a little go of it but I actually find it easier with a normal tension tool as with this one you can't feel anything so you are guessing the amount of tension used. Maybe with a little practice or if you are just starting out it would be a good tool but if you are a professional and can pick locks with a normal tension tool you don't need it. I have a pick success rate of over 90% and I have never used this tool on a job.But saying that, if I practised with it and got used to it then it would probably be good.

Not a bad little tool to have. I've found that it doesn't fit the majority of locks I would like to pick but still worth the investment.

Not enough access to key way to use proficiently. Well made and reasonably priced, but not for me.

Excellent useful tool in the armoury! Uses precision tension in enabling a lock pick. Pins are fixed and not moveable, however world for most items, padlocks and Euro / cylinder locks. Well with purchasing, and a very happy locksmith, with this new Tension tool, the previous one I use daily still.
