Great product.

Great and complex with highly detailed F-135V/STOL jet engine. The cockpit is minimal as the F-35 is dominated by large video screen and limited detail. The weapons load is good and there are sufficient stores to make a complete combat load. The "Beast Mode" means having all the six hardpoints filled on the wings which decreases stealth greatly but looks great. Give this one a 4 du to no pilot figure included. Not recommended for newbies as the engine construction is quite complex. Compound curves that 'stealth' up the surfaces are also a challenge to align.

This kit has amazing details, specially the F-35 B version with the vertical take-off intake and exhaust features. Also the weapons bay and surface details like rivets are clearly laid out. One big bonus is it also comes with photo etched parts. I also purchased a new airbrush set with a mini compressor as a new addition to my scale modeling tools to replace my old tools. After I finish building the battleship I'm doing now the F-35B will be my next project. Can't wait to start it.
