Compost Toilets: A Practical DIY Guide

I hate to admit it but this is my husband's bedtime reading. Having bought a remote cottage miles from anywhere the only option is a composting toilet and this this book has given him all he needs to know. I have even research further on the Internet and the history of composting toilets in fansinating. I don't believe I am writing this, but it's true it is part of our history dating back to the 1800's. Fabulous book.

This is a useful, practical book which points out many things we would not have thought about otherwise. If you are planning on installing a compost toilet then this is definitely worth a read.

Great book...

A well written book giving practical, sensible advice. We need to put in an 'off grid' loo at an isolated property and now have a much clearer idea of how to set about the task. It's a real how to do it book, no airy fairy nonsence.

Better off buying the Humanure Handbook
