Skeptical at first but once installed I am pretty happy with it. Checked the readings against a dial indicator and found that the readout was accurate to .002" - good enough for most of what I do. Install was easy, if you don't have metric taps the hardware provided will be useless, you might want to get some 10-24 and 8-32 fasteners to replace the ones provided. Manufacturer could invest more in the packaging, it was a little scary how flimsy the boxes were but everything arrived in one piece. Will update after 6 months.

Spot on DRO for the lathe. Had to cut one of the scales shorter, easy to disassemble. To cut the glass, take completely out of the housing, score with a diamond file on both sides and snap clean. Difficulty attaching endcaps, the extrusion does not have the holes extruded, so you will have to drill and tap for the end cap to fit back on if you cut the scale shorter. Make sure you put the glass back in correctly or the reader will not read.

Nice scales and dro, limited mounting options with included brackets and hardware. Biggest negitive is the cords are more like 1.5m defenitely not 3 meters so i have to go find 9 pin extension cords to conect everything.

The DRO monitor is broken, don’t work, cannot be programmed, sellers answer was for different order , order# for broken DRO monitor is. 113-7041173-585 1400

Used it on my milling machine.

Only complaint was the manual wasn't very clear and missing some information during translation.
