Q: are these any good for gaming ? and what is the actual life span of them ? asking as i always use my gaming pc . its only ever off for about 6-7 hours

It depends how lucky you are i installed my OS on it and my games software about 800 gig. Then started playing the games it failed after two weeks and was totally unreadable to life span for games was two weeks.
