Marine Flexible LED Light Strip 12V 6ft White

i'm so disappointed with this product. Installed 2 (one aimed at each of my Dodge Ram 1500 running boards) and they looked awesome. But after less than 2 months, passenger side started to fail. Only first 4 LEDs lit up bright and rest were barely lit. But they looked so good when they were working I bought a replacement (thinking it was a fluke) and i bought 2 more to add underglow effects to the front and rear of the truck.It looked great. But I noticed the driver side LED started to fail a few days ago with the first 4 LEDs barely lighting. Today the entire strip stopped working.I'm so bummed out with the quality of this produce. Especially since i put so much effort into wiring and mounting. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It will fail within 3 months of installation.UPDATE: Contacted seller with my concerns about product quality and got the following response "...These lights are for outdoor use but must be protected. If you are mounting them under the truck they would be exposed to having road debris and a lot of water. I have many customers that use these lights for under gunnels on the boats and other areas where water resistancy is required. These are able to hold up to wash down with hose or splashes and rain. They are not meant for areas where they are exposed to constant contact with water, rocks, mud extra hitting them from road. I have an IP68 rated led strip that is fully waterproof and completely sealed inside a silicone tubing that is meant for these areas were they could be exposed to more severe elements. They are used to mount underneath paddle boards and kayaks, in bait wells, and in areas like under the truck. What I would like to do is send you 2 of these IP 68 6FT strips in WHITE and have you try them in this application and see how you like them. I will ship them out to you at no charge and see if they work for what you want. If that is agreeable to you, I will ship them out to you tomorrow...."So, I'm improving my rating solely based on OUTSTANDING customer service from T-Toplights. New LED strips definitely look to be much more durable.

I just install one 6’ led in the rear of my 17’ boat and two 2’ led’s in the front under the dash. I am very happy so far. They stuck to the paint just fine. Give off a good amount of light but don’t blind you. Lastly they use a very small amount of electricity. Should be great for getting my gear set up in a he dark.I will update if something changes.
