You get what you pay for but won't know for sure until it's checked by the intended recipient.
The Gift Card comes with a space on the back to write the amount it's loaded with so the intended recipient will know how much you're giving them. Unfortunately, only they can confirm for themselves the remaining balance by using the card number and (scratched off) PIN number which isn't really meant for the person doing the giving unless they want to reveal they've checked on their behalf. However, Amazon Customer Service assures me that the value paid for is the value loads on the card which otherwise doesn't specify except for what you write on it as the amount to expect by the recipient. In short, 4/5 stars for that lack of knowing or peace of mind that you get exactly what you pay for, for the intended recipient. Otherwise, much better than going in-person to a local Primark store just to get a gift card which can be easily ordered online instead.
