In the end we didn’t use these when we bought them for a recent holiday. However, was really impressed with the quality and fit of these when they arrived so decided to keep them for future use. Probably won’t need to use the regularly, but in the event we do they slip really easily over boots and shoes - therefore giving extra stability in icy conditions. Definitely a better to have it and not always need it rather than need it and not have it kind of order!

Makes walking in icy conditions easy and gives confidence. However, despite being apparently tight round the shoes, one of them did slipped off once, and I had to retrace my steps to find them. Maybe I didn't put them on properly in the first place, but I did seem to.

I used to use the stud variety of grippers,but they were so unriable ( due to studs falling out from walking ) so I got a set of Yaktrax and I've never looked back I even got sets for Family too.Although they are dearer than the crappy stud versions, they work out cheaper in the long run as they'll last longer.You get complete confidence even on the worst sections of ice Highly recommend Yaktrax.

Infortunately On the first day out lost one already but they are good

I have to dog walk regardless of weather but very nervous when icy outside. I’m now confidently walking around with these ice grippers. Black ice when solid is still an issue but nothing can grip black ice I guess. Definitely recommend.

Effective traction on icy grounds but the rubber restraints are a bit flimsy. One of them broke after using them a couple of times.
